The economy and gas prices are killing me so much, I went out and bought a new pickup

One thing I can say about this economy, transportation costs are going up even more, also a general strike for truckers in Canada is around the corner.

Kind'a hard to earn money driving truck when you're on strike, no? Or are you just willing pawns in exacerbating an already bad situation? When more and more people can afford less and less, guess whose jobs, among others, are going to be detrimentally affected.

I won’t strike, a lot of the cargo I bring to Canada is essential.. medical supplies, food

I have to run to Houston, Texas and enter the port (Twic card required) and run back to Toronto or Calgary with medical supplies.

ALSO !! I run a refer unit, so I bring food as well. So unless you’re planning on going on a diet, my job is secure..

People have to eat..
