CBC reported Saturday morning that Trudeau and family were relocated from their home at Rideau Cottage to an undisclosed location for their safety. The Prime Minister is working remotely somewhere in the Capital Region.
Trudeau, hasn’t directly addressed the ongoing demonstrations, which are spread throughout Ottawa and across the country.
However, after he was relocated, Trudeau remained active on Twitter, condemning Islamaphobia and racism and commemorating victims of the tragic mosque killings.
In previous comments, Trudeau has called the truckers protest a “a small fringe minority” holding “unacceptable” views.
On Friday, he described his worry (Was that worry or HOPE?) that the protests might turn violent.
“Of course I’m concerned,” he said. “A number of people are there without wanting to incite violence but (Please-Please-Please?) there are going to be, as we’ve heard, a small group of people in there who are posing a threat to themselves, to each other, to Canadians.”
