It is now known that China leaders were aware on January 15, 2020 that they were dealing with a Wuhan Virus Epidemic that had the POTENTIAL to become a world wide Pandemic - however they apparently DID NOT wish to disrupt the VERY POPULAR traditional Chinese New Year celebrations - as such disruption would have cost major money in lost tourist dollars and badly frightened the entire Red Chinese society so Beijing Butchers SAID NOTHING till January 20 - until after all the tourists had GONE HOME - carrying the Wuhan Pestilence with them around the planet and spreading the infection to ALL continents!
In spite of this new knowledge - HIDING AN EPIDEMIC - Our idiot Boy Justin STILL TRUSTS the Beijing Butchers and the World Health Organization!
The WHO is of course caught up in a scandal in that it accepted and trusted without question the information supplied by the Beijing Butchers! Such is the price of being part of the politically correct United Nations group! U.N. officials are expected to accept the word of a DICTATOR as being as reliable as that of a western ELECTED leader working with a free press that is vetting all political announcements!
Thus we can see that when it comes to handling a Pandemic such as Wuhan Virus - WHO has not really been dishonest - it has operated with its hands tied and is LIMITED in its effectiveness by that need to accept Propaganda without question!
WE SHOULD LEARN THE LESSON - that in future - any SENSIBLE western govt MUST use its own judgement and to ACT SWIFTLY to CLOSE BORDERS whenever there is ANY QUESTION about some disease that may be emerging and spreading! Due to political pressures and considerations built into the organization - WHO simply CANNOT fully protect us!
As in the case with Wuhan Virus we can see that the MORE DANGEROUS an emerging disease might be - the MORE PRESSURE there will be for a frightened dictator to DENY the truth in the early stages!
Certainly in North Korea and Iran - there has been a gvot cult of silence first and then denial later - with the result that the disease spread far and fast among the populations of those countries!
We might even ASK if China hoped the Wuhan Virus WOULD spread to the West so that our better funded medical establishment would be put into HIGH GEAR - and ADDED to the Chinese efforts seeking a cure! After all - China HAS BEEN studying the Wuhan Virus in the past so we should ask if they have tried and PREVIOUSLY FAILED to find a cure or vaccine?
We know also that Wuhan Virus has been studied in Chinese labs and that WHO and others have chided China for lax security at labs in its handling of Wuhan and other Viruses in the past and this suggests that China WAS AWARE the Wuhan Virus COULD become DANGEROUS - otherwise why spend money studying something harmless and insignificant?
Further - WHO states that there is no evidence that Wuhan Virus was manipulated in a Lab and this may be true or it may indicate that WHO has not done enough investigation! WHO has already been wrong once about Wuhan Virus!
In related news - there is ample information available to suggest that Pandemic`s are MORE LIKELY to appear in the future than they did in the past! For one thing the number of anti-biotic resistant viruses is multiplying steadily thanks to over use and abuse of drugs. We know also that food production and distribution methods in the third world ARE NOT as sanitary as they should be!
And of course our swift and modern fleet of aircraft offer the IDEAL METHOD of disseminating an Epidemic or Pandemic around the planet! There are those who recognize HOW CLOSE WE CAME to a world wide Ebola outbreak in the past!
The fact that Sars emerged from Chinese Civet Cat farms, Bird Flu emerged from Chinese poultry farms, Swine Flu emerged from Chinese Hog farms and now - Wuhan Virus has emerged as a result of Chinese eating Fruit Bats all indicate that CHINA HAS A FARM SANITATION AND DISEASE PROBLEM that is MADE WORSE by the crowding in Chinese cities!
THE TERRIBLE IRONY of the Wuhan Pestilence is that it emerged SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER the Beijing Butchers got in a snit and BANNED shipments of Cdn Pork! WE SHOULD ASK if Wuhan Virus would have emerged at all if China had not banned Cdn food products! The CLEAR implication is that in the absence of Cdn Pork - some Chinese ate their old bush meat staple - Fruit Bats - instead instead of enjoying suddenly UNAVAILABLE clean Cdn Pork and thus China accidentally set the Virus loose on the world!
The staggering COST of dealing with Wuhan Virus along with the cost of dealing with any future Pandemic`s means WE MUST separate ourselves PERMANENTLY from these emerging Chinese health problems!
Chinese car parts do not spread disease - but Chinese food products CLEARLY DO - thus WE CAN continue to do SOME biz with Beijing! HOWEVER there is the UGLY issue that China often uses chemicals and products - banned in the west for its products and packaging!
As an example, we have only to think of the Emerald Ash Borer Beetle that arrived hiding inside Chinese packing crates made with lumber cut in China! The result was North American govts cutting over ten million Ash Trees - killed by the Emerald Ash Borer - an invasive species that has no natural enemies here!
We know also that Chinese suppliers often ship toys and crayons and other products for sale to kids to the West - KNOWING that there is TOXIC MATERIAL in the products!
Chinese food products sold to the West often expose western buyers to banned types of plastic no longer use in the West and to other chemicals as well in the usual sloppy Chinese version of quality control!
Add in the issues with Red Chinese bullying of its neighbours and irrational demands for control of formerly international waters and its drive for military supremacy in the world and its notorious slave labour camps and it adds up to a picture of a regime WE SHOULD NOT be RUSHING to do business with!
