I have been told over and over again the reason why the world cannot punish the USA is because they are a powerful nation. And that the only way to enforce punishment and international laws upon them is if they are defeated and are weaken which I don't see in my lifetime.

Is that even right? Why is it that when an individual commits murder, they are arrested and put away, despite how powerful this person is? But powerful countries can get away with murdering millions of people?
