Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

It's lucky I can post at all. I broke my previous phone so I've not been able to post since Sunday. So now I've got a brand new one. It was one of just three items I was allowed to buy at the supermarket. So I'm glad I'm back. I can't stand having no internet.

Glad to hear you are still connected, Blackleaf. I would be really lost without the internet right now as I am keeping in touch with so many relatives by email. I'm profoundly deaf and thought I have wonderful top of the line hearing aids they can only do so much. Talking on the phone means I must use speaker phone which in a lot of cases means that someone I am talking to is getting feedback and can't understand me or, I cannot understand them. I would also be lost without it (the net) as it provides me with the opportunity to do research about various news items online. Stay well sir.

7 million people left Wuhan, China in January...after govt officials knew about coronavirus human to human transmission (and suppressed it) before travel was restricted (NYT).

7 million.

Considering the tone of most of your posts, Avro...............I'm sure you just forgot to add '/s' to your post. I heartily commend the Syrian community for doing what they can during these tough times.

What do you mean? Don't you know that Syrian refugees are scum?

James Dyson designed a new ventilator in 10 days. He's making 15,000 for the pandemic fight.

That's it. If this was happening 30 years ago it would have been a lot tougher on some people, like yourself, as it would have been harder to keep in touch with loved ones. Thankfully, modern technology means we can now communicate with people far away without having to use a phone or write a letter. Using Skype means we can even see and have a proper conversion with someone elsewhere. So the World Wide Web is valuable to those of us having to stay in during all this.

Stay well sir.

And you, too.

I'm just chilling on my duvet on the bed in the dark having a beer and eating raw mushrooms, believe it or not (I can't be bothered cooking them, but they are very healthy eaten raw).

I've actually just realised what a bizarre set of things it is I'm doing.

The British Government is getting many companies to produce thousands of ventilators and hand sanitiser and other equipment.

It's reminiscent of the vast production of gas masks and planes and tanks and shells during the world wars.

Umm, Walt. 27,334 have died out of 595,000 cases. Do the math and then reread the oann article you posted.
Thank you.
Just posting what Dr. Fauci says. Tell him to do the math.

Yeah, Trump cut the CDC budget by 20% and disbanded the Pandemic response team that Obama set up within the WH. Makes you wonder “what goes on behind closed doors. “
Stable genius.
Fake news.

As much as everyone looks to the President, the major decisions need to be made by our country’s governors. They are best equipped to know the needs of their people and the vulnerabilities that exist. Proud of our governors and their leadership during this time.
