Hard to believe that the wall is even getting built, he promised a wall and that Mexico would pay for it in his pre-election rallies that is true. he also said they may not write a check directly to pay for it, there are other ways Mexico can pay for it. We've seen evidence of it through housing illegals in their country, suppling an army to protect their border, Tariffs, restructured NAFTA deal, requiring immigrants to apply for work permits in Mexico first before going on to the US border, etc. Until now it is down to a trickle of immigrants and really mainly Cartels pressuring the US. border, driving down the costs of housing Illegals.
