Suggesting that he's made only 1 mistake is very generous of you
A 1/4 Million of us saw the opportunity and headed home from Vancouver Calgary and Toronto.

It was and still is pretty sweet to be mortgage free and sitting on enough for retirement at 35yrs old.

People like you are a dime a dozen.... Angry, frustrated and entirely disappointed with your life.
Is this your confession of do you profile people with great accuracy?? God a track record that can be verified.

Memo update: The split should be north/south rather than east/west as all the crooks live as close as you can get to the US. Quebec and Ontario have no use for the people in the north, but value the minerals a lot more so they should be in a war crimes type of court.

I left YVR as the cost of housing was pretty high even at that time and the only affordable options were way out like in Mission, Maple Ridge, etc... Nice places, but if I was prepared to live there, I'd move to Canmore or a place like that for even less money.

.. Had I the insight to do that, i could have bought (literally) 12-14 old houses in Canmore for the cost of 1 in YVR proper and sold those push-downs for $900k each today (or the last 15 years)

Not much use try to debate there Capt. Whatever you say, you can count on him jumping on it within 2 minutes and giving you one of his hastily, poorly thought out retorts. Remember Sleepy's advice about pigeons!
So your troll posts are the good kind rather than your posts are full of shit and have nothing to do with the topic in the thread title.

Your debating skills are so low that you have to post to people that have no debating skills, according to you.

How long did your 'well thought out post take'?

You would go far in NATO.

Nonsense.
Little Potato is a bit of fluff that will blow away in the wind. If you're all so fragile that the airhead is suddenly making conditions INTOLERABLE there after 114 years, the rest of us are not buying the guff.

Fragility has nothing to do with it. Fairness and a recognition of each province's contribution to confederation do - which is something that Pinocchio and Geppetto don't give a damn about.

Ironic that your post has nothing to do with the thread topic.

I did. I made a pile of equity in Coquitlam, sold, moved to Sask, started a highly profitable business, bought a big ass house, renovated and then bought 4 sq miles of farmland that went up in value 500% over the following two years.

How stupid of me to get while the getting was good.

The next option would be to start a new thread, give me shit and then you do the same thing again, let alone replying to a post that wasn't even a reply to you at all, unless you have a few accounts . . . .

All the signs are there for the agri sector to experience some dramatic growth although I'd wager the form will vary a lot from the old family-farm model.

All the same, leasing that land to a commercial outfit for cash and a % of the yield is what I think has real potential

I bought in 92 and left in 98.

Zero regrets.

Family farms are pretty much gone.
CPP bought out the family farms and leases the land. It was either go bigger or take the pay out.

These days we pull our big camper from the cities to Provincial Parks and farm from there.
