Yes, but you know nothing about me

That's just a blatant untruth.
Good thing we've got half a continent then, enit?

I don't see what that has to do with anything.

You said Britain is a small island.

I replied - truthfully and accurately - that it isn't. It's a huge island.

The fact that you then go on to try to disprove my factual claim by mentioning the size of your country, which isn't an island, shows the kind of stupidity I have to deal with here on a daily basis.
You're a second-rate power currently engaged in stupiding yourself to third rate.

How?
Though I admit I'm still staggered at how you pissed away the empire your forefathers bequeathed to you.

Banging on about the empire. You seem rather obsessed about it. You should be grateful towards it. The USA wouldn't exist without it.

True. I misspoke. I should have said "You don't understand most of what I say, on account of stupid."

Banging on about the empire. You seem rather obsessed about it. You should be grateful towards it. The USA wouldn't exist without it.
Anyone with the slightest knowledge of history would find the Empire fascinating. They were giants. Their descendants are deformed dwarves, swinging from the tit of their former colony.

I wouldn't vote for a populist freak like Boris, either.

The only people who don't like "populist" politicians are those who are out of touch with most people in the country and have no idea of ordinary life.

On the contrary. I understand all of what you say, but I just find most of it to be bollocks.
How?
In every way imaginable. Your alleged seapower is a tiny adjunct to ours, we've had to bail you out financially twice in the 20th century, and you do what you're told in international affairs. You're a client state.

And Congo's is tiny compared to Britain's. According to your flawed logic, Congo swings from Britain's tit.

So? In recent years, Britain has had to bail Greece and Ireland out after the EU has finished with them. Do they swing from Britain's tit?

It's sooooooo big, it's bigger'n Texas!!
and that's BIG, Brother!
Actually, I lied.
Texas is 2-1/3 times the size of Britain.
Ontario can fit FOUR Britains in our border.
Why would we want to, though?

I'll whisper it to you. Let it be our little secret, and when I've told you you can tell your mum and dad what your mighty Uncle Blackleaf taught you tonight. Are you ready? Here we go: Texas and Ontario aren't islands.

Only if you pretend Briddin did it alone. Which you will, of course.

No.

Islands are tiny, cramped, claustrophic, limited, dead-end places.

Weird way of thinking.

Greenland isn't tiny - it's massive - and it certainly isn't cramped. Not with a population of 56,000.

And it's not just islands which are limited. So are Canada and Switzerland.

And with Britain being the eighth-largest island, it isn't a small island. It's a large one. Only seven are bigger.

Well we fought on our own whilst you lot did nothing thinking it was nothing to do with you until the Japs proved you wrong.

The US could have knocked out Japan while just keeping guard posts on the Atlantic coast while giving the UK moral support.

Canada could have just taken your refugees to expand our population and economy.

Of course with the UK at war, we could have traded in gold while insisting you pay first so we don't lose our investment.

'If a male PM weeps he's a patriot. If a woman does, they ask why': Brexit regrets, digs at Boris, and yes, mistakes. Theresa May's last No 10 interview reveals a leader whose decency was never in doubt

There is no escaping the fact that Theresa May's job was to deliver the wishes of the 52 per cent of people who voted Leave in the 2016 EU referendum and of those who voted Remain but realised that the result must be honoured. Certainly, the brutality of her eviction from No 10 has been very painful to watch. Forever etched on our memories will be the way she finally crumbled as she stood in the middle of Downing Street on May 24 and told the nation that she was standing down. Over the course of a conversation lasting nearly an hour, Mrs May insists that, despite failing on Brexit, she has a legacy to be proud of. Candidly, she talks about reasons for those times she woke up worried about big decisions in the middle of the night and of mistakes she made. Despite the best intentions, she also failed signally not to take a couple of well-aimed swipes at Boris Johnson and Chancellor Philip Hammond - who has been accused of trying to block Treasury cash for some of her legacy spending pledges, such as a £27billion school funding plan.
