Well, it seems that on Jimmy Fallon's late-night talk show, Jimmy brought up that Deranged Donald had insulted Mayor Pete, calling him "Alfred E. Neuman."

Mayor Pete responded "I talk a lot about elevating the conversation, so if I inspired him to use a literary reference--"

The rest was drowned out in Jimmy's and the audience's laughter.

Good the man has a sense of humour , is he electable ? Will he catch the enthusiasm of Democrat delegates ? Just asking .

No open primaries are available to me.

Aside from that, it varies from state to state.

Each state makes up its own rules, which according to you is unConstitutional. At least when it means Deranged Donald might have to disclose his tax returns.

Thanks I have a gay nephew, an aboriginal soon-to-be son-in-law and one of my daughters is taking women's studies at university. I'll bring them all. We'll have fun terrifying some folks.

What ever , thanks for the info . I knew each state has different systems , but don’t pretend to understand them all , or who has what .

I'm in for Mayor Pete. I sent him money, much though it hurt my lawyer heart (oxymoron alert!) to do so.

He's smart. He's, by any reasonable definition of the word, conservative. He distrusts Russia and China, with the discerning distrust of a Navy intelligence officer. Oh, yeah, he's a former Navy intelligence officer, with a combat tour under his belt. That used to count for something, before American "conservatives" went all-in for racism and misogyny.

He has resisted the "Free Stuff!" mantra of the Dem candidates. He supports Israel (but not necessarily Netanyahu). He values our long-term allies, and doesn't trust dictators.

Ferfoxsake, he's Reagan. Or GHW Bush. He's the best Republican of my lifetime, back before the Republicans had their spines surgically removed and went full-on Nazi.

And no, I really don't give a flip who he sleeps with. And I wonder about people who are obsessed, or even interested.

See , great answer . I have no interest in his sex life as long as it is not predatory. My only concern is that your country is stable and continues it’s close relationship with mine .

Mayor Pete says "The flag on my shoulder when I boarded the plane for Afghanistan didn't say 'Republican' or 'Democrat.' It was an American flag."

I'll post the Republican reply if we can find one who ever wore a flag on her/his shoulder.
