Another day- another thought with which to expose LIE-beral moral rot:
Some clever person posted this observation: “It is my thought that civil service union Hogs are swarming social media sites to stifle any voice that dissents from their own. Are there others who would agree with my belief that they are heavy handed and authoritarian and therefore a threat to democracy”?
In related news- should we ask just what all those LIE-beral media relations staffes spend their day doing? Maybe things like spreading Fake News on behalf of their political employer? And- would we have less Fake News if politicians had to write their own crap instead of hiding behind a smoke screen of “I was mis-quoted”?
I must insist that this person is quite right in assuming civil service Hogs are BENDING election law in a most disgraceful fashion! One has only to imagine the screams of outrage that would come from the LIE-beral/Hog headquarters if corporate CEO`s told their employees that their pay and job security would be in jeopardy unless Conservatives were elected! Can you picture the outrage if CEO`s told their employees they would not get raises in pay if LIE-berals were elected!
And yet that is EXACTLY what Hog union leaders have told their followers! All govt employees KNOW that their future will be much brighter if LIE-berals are elected! And LIE-berals make this assertion more true with every new contract they sign with Hogs! It is election bribery on a HUGE scale!
LIE-berals have made hundreds of billions of dollars in pension promises to Hogs. For instance, Ontari-owe LIE-beralsc have promised fifty five billion dollars in pension promises to OSSTF/Ontari-owe high school teachers who already have the single largest pension fund in all of North America! And there are EIGHTEEN MORE provincial civil service ujions right behind OSSTF- each with their own set of COSTLY IOU`s! Civil servants receive pension opportunities on a scale that is not even legal for private sector workers!
Sadly there are many hundreds of billions of dollars in LIE-beral IOU`s promised by the FOUR levels of govt- federal, provincial, municipal and the arms length crown corporations such as ORNGE, E-health and the colleges, universities and hospitals! All those LIE-beral promises in exchange for Hog votes is breaking our economy! WE are so grossly in debt that if LIE-berals try to pay even a modest portion of the promises they made in a desperate effort to cling to power, it will throw us into a depression so vast it will make the Dirty Thirties look like a minor inconvenience! The taxes needed to pay for even a portion of LIE-beral promises will cripple vast swaths of our economy and ensure that health care, unemployment ins, welfare and old age pensions for ordinary people disappear like snow in July!
How bad could it all get if LIE-berals ever try to pay most iof their promises? John Steinbeck gave is a window into that sort of world in his Grapes of Wrath! But next time it wont just be “Okies” suffering! The Great Depression and the 2008 Mortgage Meltdown were both the result of massive debt and sloppy banking- just the sort of mess the world has RETURNED TO!

Canada ranked #1 country in the world for Quality of Life
As we told you earlier, Canada has been named the #2 best country in the world.
Well, we’ve also been named as the #1 country in the world in 2018 for Quality of Life for a third year in a row.
The study, conducted by U.S. News in partnership with Y&R’s BAV and Wharton, broke down 80 countries’ overall rankings based “on 75 different metrics.”
Each of those metrics was then placed into one of nine subcategories that included:
- Affordability
- Stable job market
- Economic stability
- Family friendliness
- Income equality
- Political stability
- Education systems
- Public health systems
Canada beat out Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Australia, who all finished in the Quality of Life top 5.
According to the study, Canada placed number one for its political stability, strong job market, safe environment, and its good education system.

Here is a simple solution to some of the troubles plaguing Toronto Community Housing. With some comments of my own in brackets):
Move seniors out of TCHC

Too many seniors living in Toronto’s public housing communities feel trapped and afraid. They live surrounded by gangs, guns, drugs, violence, prostitution, endemic crime and unstable neighbours.
For too long, public officials allowed a tiny group of thugs and criminal tenants to terrorize the majority of residents who live in Toronto Community Housing Corp. (TCHC) units. The elderly have been especially vulnerable.
That’s why we welcome a city executive committee decision this week that recommends breaking up TCHC.
The committee recommended council move 28,000 seniors living in 83 senior-designated buildings into a new Seniors Housing and Services agency, independent from TCHC and more directly accountable to City Council.
“This new entity would have a laser-like focus on serving seniors and begin a crucial alignment of all of our services to a rapidly growing seniors’ population,” was how it was described by Mayor John Tory.
There’s no question seniors in public housing are poorly served now. And there’s no question breaking apart TCHC will be a massive, challenging and expensive undertaking.
(But concentrating all the bad apples in one basket and all the frail old seniors in another will make for easier living for old folks. But it will cause friction between govt and unions as nobody will want to staff the buildings housing thugs, drug addicts and prostitutes! With the added problem that the public will get a more clear look at the kind of people that our LIE-beral govt is spending so much money on- with such small results! A lot of Cdns are disgusted that govt is supplying safe injection sites so hard core addicts can get high quicker and easier.)
(Govt tells us that the safe injection sites are better for the community but we think they lie! Govt talks about nurses encouraging addicts to get help but what manner of advice and persuasion works on an addict focused on that next fix-right now- with some LIE-berals do- gooder nattering way off in the background- at huge cost! Some Cdns think that tough love might be a better and cheaper addiction control measure-watching the guy next to you convulsing and dying with the needle loaded with poison still stuck in the arm might just sober up the addicts nearby?)
TCHC is Canada’s largest public housing landlord. It houses 110,000 tenants in 58,500 units but has a long list of woes, including a $1.6-billion repair backlog. The agency has a 90,000-person long, multi-year waiting list for social housing, is owed millions in tenant arrears and has hundreds of uninhabitable units. TCHC is also teetering on long-term financial disaster, a “dire” and “untenable” future papered with million-dollar deficits and billions worth of unfunded needs.
It’s a mess that’s been decades in the making, one that was downloaded onto the city by Queen’s Park and has only gotten worse since.
(Oh lets get it straight- Toronto City Hall Hogs were delighted to get all those apartment buildings so cheap with the help of Queens Park! The buildings were pretty much extorted from private sector landlords by a combination of rent controls and tax increases! Silly Hall socialists were delighted to offer up all those apartment units at bargain rates in exchange for votes! Its just too bad a cabal of idiot politicians never considered the decaying condition of the buildings. They also neglected to consider the effects of almost unregulated immigration as LIE-berals bought ethnic votes by letting in any person capable of marking an `X` beside a LIE-beral name on a ballot at election time- regardless of ability to be self supporting in our grossly indebted economy!)
(Toronto `leaders` are so desperate to cling to power that they believe it is unfair not to let undocumented- meaning ILLEGALS vote for them in elections! Our bankrupt school system has decided that they will accept any and all children without any questions or documents and to hell with the unfunded cost! But teachers who have decided we must be generous this way also expect they will continue getting THEIR shipments of gravy! We can go short but NEVER them! That is how it is with LIE-berals- they are most generous with things they do NOT OWN and Margaret Thatcher said it best with this: “the trouble with LIE-berals is that they eventually run out of other peoples money”!)
But it doesn’t matter who’s to blame. The public is sick of that game.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government has stepped up and promised billions for social housing nationally, including expected money for TCHC repairs.
(Yeah and much of the promised Trudope money will NOT show up unless LIE-berals win another election in 2019! Its typical LIE-beral bait and bribe while the buildings rot to the point they cannot be repaired and must be torn down!)
City Council could take a critical step forward by supporting a separate social housing agency for seniors, and by tackling other reforms needed to fix TCHC.
That just leaves Kathleen Wynne’s provincial Liberals, who have so far failed to do more to help with repairs.
(And of course the new LIE-beral Housing minister has just come out slamming the city for deliberately under funding affordable housing! The pot calling the kettle black! There is plenty of blame to go around! From federal govt who lets in too many unsuitable immigration failures, provincial govt that encourages civil service Hog greed in exchange for votes- to the municipal leaders with their insane sanctuary city crap they and we cannot afford!)
All three levels of government have an opportunity to fix a real, chronic and meaningful problem.
We hope all three will get it right.
(Not a hope for that as all three govts desperately need more gravy to buy the continued Hog support that they need to cling to power at any price!)

Toronto man loses driver’s license after disclosing marijuana use to doctor

'Paradoxical response' to marijuana causing ER visits in Antigonish. A Toronto man lost his Ontario driver’s licence after admitting to a doctor he smokes marijuana on a daily basis.
(In related news- Toronto cops and public transit workers are infuriated that they are being singled out and prohibited from using Weed just in case it impacts their job! So are LIE-berals sending a mixed message about alleged Weed benign nature????)
The man, age 53, provided part of his medical file and other information to Global News for examination but asked not to be publicly identified out of concern for his employment.
Last October, the man was referred to Dr. Peter Phua, a medical doctor who works in a psychotherapy clinic.
He was seeking help with anxiety and claustrophobia, an extreme fear of confined places.
The man says he was honest and up front about his lifetime use of marijuana, which by mid-month was legally obtainable in Canada. He said he has always been truthful with physicians.

(In other words - cops know that in 40 percent of fatal car crashes the driver deemed at fault is BOTH drunk and stoned! So LIE-berals are using possible Weed use as an excuse to invade our privacy at home! Nor do LIE-berals yet have that quick and RELIABLE road side test they assured us would resolve various problems related to stoned drivers and employees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
“He’s a doctor, I thought I could trust him. If you can’t trust your doctor who can you trust?” he said.
Phua is listed as a family physician in the public record of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
At the initial meeting, the man says he told Phua he sometimes smokes five small joints in a day, usually mixed on a 50-50 basis with tobacco.
“I told him I don’t smoke and drive,” he said, explaining he owns his own business, has several employees, and is conscientious about his cannabis consumption.
(From rhe sound of it - he PARKS and then smokes- and then drives!!!!!!!!!!!)
He suffers from Crohn’s Disease and has survived two forms of cancer. He says marijuana helps him relax.
In the first meeting, the man said Phua warned him he could have his driver’s licence revoked over his marijuana use, but wouldn’t.
At a second meeting with the doctor about a week later, he says Phua repeated his warning and the assurance he wouldn’t report him.

“Twice he threatened, twice he said he would not, and then he did,” the man said.
(So what is the doctor telling this man? Sounds like doc is WARNING- don’t tell me stuff I MAY NEED TO REPORT! And patient is ignoring the warnings!!!!!!!)
A week after the second meeting, the man got a phone call from Phua, who announced he was contacting the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario to have his driver’s licence revoked.
(So should we ask if the reason the doctor changed his mind about reporting was because of how STONED his patient appeared to be at some appointments? After all, a doctor doing blood tests WILL have evidence of your drug use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
“It was unreal, it sucked the air out of me,” he told Global News.
On Oct. 15, the man received a notice of suspension of driver’s licence from the ministry, announcing his driving privileges would be revoked as of Oct. 22.
The letter cited “evidence of medical condition that would affect your ability to safely operate a motor vehicle” as the reason.
“Stop driving. You must not drive while you are suspended,” the letter warned.
By now, the man had contacted the College of Physicians and Surgeons to file a complaint against the doctor. The College is investigating whether Phua violated the man’s privacy and told the man “he will lie to MTO to get Mr. X’s driver’s licence suspended”, allegations which have not been established by the medical regulator.
(OH GREAT! Instead of discussing whether the guy is too stoned to drive and is a menace on roads- we are re-directed to the usual LIE-beral crap about PRIVACY!!)
The College of Physicians and Surgeons did not reply to a call for comment, nor did Phua.
(One really has to ask if this Weed biz was given any real thought by LIE-berals? In other news- LIE-berals assure us that organized crime is NOT involved in the legal Weed biz! But how would they know since they have been oblivious of the billions of dollars of drug money being laundered at Cdn casinos and in real estate!!!!!!!)
(And then there is the Ontari-owe company raided by cops - only a few months after Weed became legal- for producing TWICE AS MUCH Weed as their licence allowed for! So where is the excess production going? Other than into illicit sales that are untaxed and unregulated??)
The man also applied to appeal the decision by the MTO. He submitted medical evidence from a gastroenterologist who had treated him for several years.
“To my knowledge, there is no drug dependent history of impairment,” the doctor wrote, in support of the man’s licence reinstatement.
(That`s nice but the man has admitted that he is pretty much CONSTANTLY STONED to some degree through out the entire day! How safe is this guy to drive??????????????????????)
After submitting forms and medical advice, the man got good news.
“I got my licence back in two weeks. They (ministry staff) said it was a miracle,” the man said.
(We should ask if the guy got his licence back because the first doctor over reacted to his condition? Or was the licence returned because LIE-berals DO NOT want a long court case in which a HABITUAL STONER tries to defend his right to drive? While the public frets over legal prohibitions against cops and transit drivers and others from using Weed? How much LIE-beral double standard is too much?????)
Medical professionals are obligated to inform the ministry about someone’s medical situation in certain circumstances.
According to MTO regulations, the “goal of the medical reporting program is to protect the public from individuals who have a medical condition that may make it unsafe to drive.”
(LIE-beral ads tell us driving stoned is UNSAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
The ministry’s rules changed on July 1, 2018.

Under section 203 of the Highway Traffic Act, there are now mandatory reporting requirements for high-risk medical conditions, vision conditions and functional impairments that make it dangerous for a person to drive.
(For instance it is ILLEGAL for a person taking Methadone to ever drive! In other news- I have heard - from a former trucker- that it is not legal for a person whose right leg has been amputated to hold a professional truckers licence! So was that doctor Phua making a VALID judgement call on his stoner patient???????????)
The rules now apply to physicians, optometrists and nurse practitioners.
“Included in the mandatory high-risk conditions/impairments is uncontrolled substance use disorders. Physicians and nurse practitioners are required to report any patient who has a diagnosis of an uncontrolled substance use disorder, excluding caffeine and nicotine, and the person is non-compliant with treatment recommendations.”
But the man whose licence was suspended for marijuana use said he was not given any treatment recommendations or diagnosis by Phua.
(And what treatment recommendations would be on offer FOR LEGAL WEED USE? The law is ALREADY CLEAR- it is ILLEGAL to smoke Weed and drive- and this guy WAS BOTH smoking and driving Regularly!! Which LIE-berals have over ruled for convenient POLITICAL REASONS???????????????)
According to the ministry, someone could also lose driving privileges for excessive consumption of alcohol, even if the patient does not drive while impaired.

“Each case is reviewed on an individual basis in the context of regulatory requirements and national medical standards,” said a ministry spokesperson.
Relieved that his licence has been returned, the man told Global News he’s concerned for other people who consume marijuana responsibly, hold driver’s licences and expect to be able to speak frankly with their doctor about cannabis use.
“It’s going to be a big problem. You want to trust a doctor. But if they suspend your licence, I don’t know.”
(I do not suggest that we should return to the past where mere Weed possession was a criminal offense but simply making it legal is clearly not the answer either! As witness the various prohibitions against Weed use in spite of its legal status! And of course LIE-berals have thrown a lot of responsibility onto employers who must now decide- without any handy tools- IF AND WHEN one of their employees might be too stoned to work! And if a stoned employeec is injured or killed the legal thinking is it is the employer who is at fault for allowing the stoner to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
(There are a LOT of employees out there who are convinced they CANNOT get through the work day without being stoned! How long before some stoner- flying under the radar makes a BIG MESS and hurts some people??????????)
(It would have been better to simply leave Weed possession as a mis-demeanor- thus encouraging stoners to be discreet and cautious in their use of the Weed- and limiting the amount of time and money govt will WASTE refereeing these crap disputes!!!!!!!)
