Alas and alack. That leaves just Sputnik and the National Enquirer for "real" news, not the fake stuff that Hillary dictates to the Washington Post, the Economist, the Atlantic Monthly, New Yorker, Chicago Tribune, BBC, NPR ...you know ... all the Fake News.

Steve Bannon's resignation as Editor in Chief of Breitbart, after the flap about his comments in Fire and Fury (which seems to have completely disappeared from the headlines as quickly as it emerged) reportedly came as a result of a falling out with the Mercer family who have bankrolled Breitbart and Trump's call for his allies to break ties with Bannon.
I understand Bannon. He's in the avant garde of the nationalist and populist movement in the U.S. but he does not have the gift of connection and engagement with the Trump base. He's got an excellent intellectual and conceptual grasp of the failure of the globalist, free market, anti nation state, libertarian policies of the the Republican Establishment, founded in Reagan/Thatcher trickle down, 'supply side' economics. And the disastrous moral deformation of America fomented in death infused policies of the Dems.
He's just had a hell of a time making himself understood and exposing his adversaries. I think he'll be back. His side represents the only viable alternative to the death spiral of the status quo. Trump does not fully understand that but his strong instincts led him to Bannon in the first place. I'm sure they'll reconnect, because both represent the same cause. They just have to bury the hatchet and their egos.. no easy task for either.
