When I was in psychosis, I stopped by 5 local businesses and gave them each a lucky loonie. My French barber...the Indian family at the convenience store...the Jamaican man at the video store...the Black girl at Tim Hortons...and my Muslim cab driver friend.

I told them NEVER to spend that loonie...that it was their good luck charm, and would be valuable one day. I thought I was going to die and when the movie would be made of my life, a collector would pay top dollar for those loonies.

When that didn't pan out, I started a GoFundMe site to raise $10,000 for each of them. But after I did that, it started to trigger my schizophrenia, so i took the account down after a few days.

Yes. I've led a strange life.;)

I don't know for certain but it will depend if the CRA calls it income or capital gains.... I can't imagine that it would be without tax like for charities as I assume that he's not registered as a charity

Now that I think about it, I can't see it being capital gains either so most likely straight income
