When the US starts improving, as it is, Canada fares much better. Thanks to the Donald for not allowing Mrs. Clinton to become POTUS.

U.S. job growth slows in August; wage growth retreats

The unemployment rate ticked up from 4.3 percent to a still-low 4.4 percent, the Labor Department said Friday. Job growth in June and July was revised down by a combined 41,000.

Average hourly pay has risen just 2.5 percent over the 12 months ending in August. Pay raises typically average 3.5 percent to 4 percent when the unemployment rate is this low.

The economy has grown at a subpar annual pace of 2.1 percent during the first six months of 2017.

The U.S. economy appears less than vigorous. Auto sales have slipped. Fewer homes are being listed for sale. And the tax relief promised by President Donald Trump to boost growth faces an unclear path through a Congress that has failed to pass major legislation.

    Nice selective editing jackass. You should go work for CNN  Here, let me add what you selectively edited out.
U.S. job growth slows in August
as employers added 156,000 jobs, still enough to suggest that most businesses remain confident in an economy now in its ninth year of recovery from the Great Recession.
The unemployment rate ticked up from 4.3 percent to a still-low 4.4 percent, the Labor Department said Friday. Job growth in June and July was revised down by a combined 41,000
leaving an average monthly gain this year of a solid 176,000.
The economy has grown at a subpar annual pace of 2.1 percent during the first six months of 2017.
Here's the REAL quote The job market has remained healthy even though the economy has grown at a subpar annual pace of 2.1 percent during the first six months of 2017.
The U.S. economy appears less than vigorous. Auto sales have slipped. Fewer homes are being listed for sale. And the tax relief promised by President Donald Trump to boost growth faces an unclear path through a Congress that has failed to pass major legislation.
Um, you forgot to add "Still, in some respects..." at the beginning of that quote.

I also notice you skipped over the good news in order to make it sound all bad. I see you didn't mention this Overall, hiring this year has averaged 176,000 a month, roughly in line with 2016's average of 187,000. It was the 83rd straight month of job gains.

This is the kind of things that got you in shit over at CKA. If you're going to quote an article, then QUOTE the article, don't selectively edit what the article said just to push your bullshit narrative. Seriously dude, you are f*cking pathetic.

You're so pathetic when you selectively edit the very story you link to. As if you think everyone is as gullible and stupid as you are. That's how propaganda starts, dumbass. But nah, you like propaganda. Better than facts and reality when facts and reality obstinately refuse to bend to your will.

Even the story you linked to wasn't the gloom and doom you tried to make it out to be. In fact, the article really doesn't say anything negative about Trump. The only negative was your pathetically disingenuous attempt to paint this as some mind of economic disaster.
You are a paragon of pathetic propaganda.

I see that you have no rebuttal on this contribution so I wanted to bump this quote for ya Flossy.

It's easy to grow an economy on borrow-and-spend. That takes no particular skill or savvy. With that in mind, the growth in the Canadian economy should be expected. Given that Trump is a big borrow and spender too though, that he can't grow the economy on even that is shameful.

Where has JT deployed the money into the economy such that it has had an economic stimulating effect?

Just the act of borrowing and spending on anything stimulates the economy in the short term. Whether it's a wise long-term investment is another matter.

Social spending and worldly donations is not a wise investment to stimulate an economy :)

I wasn't talking about wise investments. I was just saying that any borrow-and-spend policy stimulates the economy in the short-term. Heck, spend it all on Kinder Surprises and it'll stimulate the economy.

Make the call?

You have been banned dozens of times for a reason genius.

I don't need to 'make the call' as you do it all yourself

Why?

Am I uncivil?

Do I troll the way many do here?

Do I start threads in violation of forum rules?

Wanna bet if that thread regarding Mentalfloss gets deleted?

While Floss is obviously biased can you not see the pile on when he posts.

Das posts pictures of him....

You love your little boys club.
