Banks are calling the Liberal's huge deficit unsettling. Our economy is weaker, the deficit for 2016-17 is rising to $ 34 Billions, $5 billions more than predicted. It is not good news for the country. Banks will of course benefit in some way with this huge spending spree, but it's not good overall, it's simply too much. The liberals expenditure was at $ 62.9 billion in their first quarter, the money committed to infrastructure was all good, but that was 19%; this sort of spending is unprecedented.

If it's good for Trump, it's good for Trudeau.

Re: Canada’s unemployment rate falls to 6.6%, the lowest level in more than 2 years

Yeah, but those numbers always include those who simply gave up trying to find gainful employment. Giving up the search doesn't imply they found a job.

And retiring people. Imagine. They are not unemployed. Plus they give their jobs to someone that actually needs it to feed their kids

15,000 works out to 0.2%. What is the number of unemployed based on number of 6.6%??? I'm thinking there is more that 1/2M people unemployed so the real rate is probably around 20% or even higher.

A massive number of useless humans that no longer have any point of being on this earth are about to die. Everything will be fine when the boomers finally kick the bucket.

Certainly , which is why I can ask these pointed questions .

Don't you remember the frozen bank accounts and austerity?

Trump's wants to MAGA with massive deficits. Trumpites clearly want to follow Greece's lead.

Even worse than Trudeau in some ways. They're both borrow-n-spenders, but Trump adds xenophobia and protectionism to the mix.

Of course I remember and even if Mentalfloss believes debt doesn't matter the same can happen here .
