Given how free trade is an effective distributor of wealth between rich and poor countries, I've never understood socialists who oppose free trade. They're an enigma. And I've especially not understood capitalists who oppose free trade. They're an enigma too. If you like free markets, you should like free trade. If you like wealth redistribution between states, you should like free trade. One of the few things the right and the left aught to agree on, at least if they're not nationalists anyway.
