At worst I'll fake being stupid just to keep the fun rolling but it's just not as genuinely fun as having a real idiot like you arround PoliticalTwit ;)

I don't think it's rocket science, after Jack Layton's death I predicted the Federal N.D.P. would slip back to their historic level of 30 - 40 seats & it's pretty tough to obtain opposition status at that level.

In a way it was a sympathy vote, for Layton. People wanted to show support by voting for him. That's how I interpreted it.

Maybe Tom should fake Cancer treatments

He's just a troll ;)

And not even good at it

Basically the NDP are not taking their new role in the parliament as irrelevant very well. They feel belittled. Tom is feeling jealousy the Liberals and Justin call the shots.

Did Tom apologize to Trudeau for his rude comments yet?

BTW , Thanks for letting us make fun of you all evening long, and be sure to drop by anytime, we can use idiots like you around here. Things get boring when all we have is 10 intelligent people in a thread.

Hadn't they already been debating when things erupted?

The whole mess was because JT didn't want any debate or discussion on whether to limit debate on the bill. A fact most people have completely missed because the MSM and liberal supporters don't want you to know....it makes Justine look bad.

You're still here? I figured you would have run away again.

Been working....you should try it sometime.

Let's just pray that Trudeau doesn't elbow her in the chest whilst he's attempting to take a seat in her office

Well, it's been quite a while since I tried dragging an unwilling individual somewhere whilst swearing at folks around me... To that ends, I can't say that I've ever elbowed a lady in the chest so maybe that info can help you with your conundrum

I've never elbowed a breast either...rubbed my share and licked enough for 2 people but never elbowed. Haven't even seen that on the fetish pages either so it must be quite rare.

Yeah... going to need to jump in here, again, with a quick correction.

The Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, P.C., M.P., Leader of the Government in the House of Commons, provided notice to the House on May 17 of the Government's intention of proposing time allocation; and when the motion was moved on May 18, there was in fact a half-hour period for members of the House to discuss the merits of whether or not debate on the remaining stages of Bill C-14 should have been limited to two sitting days. This half-hour question and answer period was as per Standing Order 67(1). (I add that citation, of course, given your incessant propensity for claiming that the Government has acted against the House's rules and customs.)

Perhaps we can discuss the time crunch that has been caused by the opposition parties in all of this. Perhaps we should recall that the opposition parties, despite the due date established by the Supreme Court, refused to permit the House to meet beyond its usual time of adjournment on May 17 and 18 to make headway on Bill C-14 (here); perhaps we should discuss how the opposition parties delayed creating a special committee to more comprehensively study the issue of physician-assisted dying (here). The Government has attempted to create ample opportunities for our elected representatives to study and debate this issue in depth, blockaded by the opposition benches.

Let us recall, too, that there were also sixteen meetings of the Special Joint Committee on Physician-assisted Dying, which saw senators and MPs study the issue of physician-assisted dying, and providing recommendations to the Government on the best course of action in crafting the legislation that is now before the House. The idea that there has not been debate on physician-assisted dying is a reckless exercise in imagination and fallacy, and one which does a disservice to the seriousness of the Supreme Court's decision on the right to die with dignity.

Perhaps it is hard for you to type all that with JTs d*ck up your a$$.

Perhaps I don't need permission from govt to live or end my life

Perhaps you and your ilk won't be happy until the true Orwellian Big Brother society is in place.

The SCC has ruled dying with dignity is a human right. I personally am ok with leaving it there. All legislation will do is restrict or deny that right. I don't need or want big govt babysitting me on everything like you apparently do.

Do you think the elbow to the chest was intentional & if so what confirms that contention?

I'm pretty sure it wasn't intentional. That doesn't mean it wasn't assault. If I take a swing at you and you move and I hit your wife instead it is assault....not intentional but still assault.

You're not doing yourself any favours here, Nick. If I felt it was absolutely necessary to include that first sentence, I would have left it to the end.:) None of us know what our feelings about end of life procedures should be until death is on the horizon and we are suffering. Anyway there is an old saying about "not shooting the messenger". I admire your tenacity but sometimes it pays to quit while you are ahead. :) :)

I like the part about Provincial and Federal powers not being able to be swapped, not like we follow it at all but it is in there. Another thing in there is that all Constititionan changes are to be voted on by referendum and only that way and that cannot ever be changed either.

The part Canada is missing is there was never a referendum vote on whether the Provinces should drop their sovereign status to become a single country. The reason that was never done is the people would have rejected the joining and would have voted to remain 'independent'.
