I don't doubt you are right but to be a prophet don't you have to have some specifics about what the something is.
I would think this mass migration is covering the escape of the proxy army and in 3 years when reconstruction is well on the way there will be a mass migration the other way as the places they fled from are now under a stable military force. Something like that is quite possible for the stated reasons. That will either sound logical or it won't for some reason that can be put down in writing. I would offer some backup but I don't have any at the moment and it isn't on my list of searches at the moment.

What would be the point of not having Syria and Iraq empty of people?
