The nurse in Spain has me concerned. They'd reported that she was in contact only 2 times with ebola patients and had the full protective gear on. A reporter talked to her via phone from her isolation room and she is not sure how she could have come into contact with the virus.

Having read that ebola in pigs is transmitted via air because the virus in pigs has the ability to infect lung tissue makes for a pretty scary prospect.

They've reported that the virus has mutated 50 times in it's first month.

Heard they were using level 2 protection when level 4 is what should have been used.

At this rate, with the level of dumbness being practiced we're all gonna get it for sure! Sheesh.

Tinfoil hat theorists must be having a field day and Reynolds wrap is making a killing...
On the elevator news they said she touched her face with an Ebola contaminated glove. She should have been in those astronaut suits.

but what if some of these germy newcomers have a 'dream', they're those 'dreamers' barry tells us about...can't muck up their dreams...s'all about their rights.
Whose administration kept a plane load of passengers on some tarmac somewhere, because someone might have had the SAR's.

There's always room.

DaS's place is where the bus stops. Dress warmly.

That reminds me, I haven't quite brought him up to speed on the whole plan yet, ie: where we hang while the world falls apart.

So the Cop just walked into the apartment of a suspected EBOLA! patient with no pre cautions..............?

A Dallas County sheriff's deputy who went inside the Dallas Ebola victim's apartment last week without protective gear was transported from an urgent care center in Frisco to the Texas Presbyterian Hosptial Wednesday.

The patient, Sgt. Michael Monning, went to the Frisco healthcare facility as a precaution after feeling stomach pain and fatigue, his son told the Dallas Morning News.

Frisco Fire Chief Mark Piland said in a Wednesday afternoon press conference that Monning exhibited enough symptoms during an examination at a CareNow hospital in Frisco to raise concern, but is being treated as a "low risk case."

Piland said Monnig is not considered one of the 48 people currently being monitored for Ebola symptoms after some form of contact with Thomas Eric Duncan, the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the United States was being treated and died Wednesday morning from the virus.

The patient was transported from the CareNow hospital in Frisco to the Texas Presbyterian Hospital Wednesday afternoon in Dallas, where Duncan was receiving treatment.

Piland said the deputy was inside the apartment last week and had contact with Duncan's family but did not have direct contact with Duncan.

According to WFAA, Monning entered Duncan's apartment last week without protective gear. Monning was accompanied by four other deputies and county health officials Zachary Thompson and Christopher Perkins, according to KXAS-TV.

An SUV confined in the CareNow hospital parking lot is registered to the Dallas County sheriff's deputy who went inside Duncan's apartment last week, according to WFAA. The patient arrived at the Frisco facility just after noon Wednesday.

Just after 2 p.m., the patient, wearing a surgical mask and plastic head covering, walked out of the Frisco facility and into an ambulance, which was covered in plastic, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The Department of State Health Services said the deputy is not among the 48 people under close monitoring for the virus, according to the Dallas Morning News.

“We understand that anyone near the Dallas response will be very concerned about any health issues they experience, and we want them to report those issues so we can check them out quickly,” the state agency said in a statement.

The Texas Health Presbyterian hospital released the following statement:

"Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas can confirm today that a patient has been admitted to the Emergency Room after reporting possible exposure to the Ebola virus. Right now, there are more questions than answers about this case. Our professional staff of nurses and doctors is prepared to examine the patient, discuss any findings with appropriate agencies and officials. We are on alert with precautions and systems in place. At the same time, we are caring for routine cases which are completely separate in operations."

The nurse in spain touched her eye with her gloved hand...oops.

I have to say, it doesn't seem like we're doing enough or the right things. The "plans" seem a bit sketchy and haphazard.

I feel I should get a gold star or something for pulling it off. I was pretty pleased with myself for being able to use "haphazard". It's just not a word that you can use often.
