To mark the back-to-school season, when lunchboxes across North America get filled with sticky peanut butter and jam sandwiches, gourmet soda company Jones Soda has launched a PB&J-flavored drink.
From the same company that's bottled the flavors of Thanksgiving dinner -- green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and butter, cranberry, turkey and gravy -- into a set of soda flavors comes a new, limited edition beverage that liquifies peanut butter and grape jelly into drinkable form.
To make it kid-friendly, the company reassures that the product is made with no peanuts.
The Peanut Butter and Jelly soda will launch in Toronto at Rabba Fine Foods locations and roll out through the U.S. at the end of August. Products are also available for purchase online.
Adventurous drinkers may also know about Lester’s Fixins, which also produces eyebrow-raising soda flavors like Buffalo Wing, Bacon and Ranch Dressing. The company also makes a peanut butter and jelly soda.

I doubt it would be a big seller in Australia. I once had an Aussie tell me how absolutely disgusting it was that North Americans ate peanut butter and jelly together.

And whacked out taste buds.

Well, you gotta admit it's different.

After all, some folks (especially in Eagle's favorite state of Massachusetts) still swear by Moxie:

.... and I readily admit to having quaffed a few bottles of this stuff which, I promise you, isn't all that tasty.

sorry that's just a big fat no.

Some foods require texture to experience the full taste of a food. PB&J's are one of those things.

You can't drink that. Just like you can't chew on a potato chip and experience a cheeseburger.

I'm almost certain physics has a law about this. There is no point in attempting to rewrite the rules to physics through this route. No no no

Jones is known for its off the wall limited run flavours. Turkey and gravy and Poutine are just a couple that beat PB and J, hands down.
