I couldn't find any online site or games last night nor could I find any details today as to whether any games were played - were they played or were there any weather issues ??

There was a game scheduled between the US and British squads, however, the English side started to hyperventilate and weep uncontrollably prior to the commencement of the game.. Speculation is that the abject fear brought them to their collective knees.

The game was scrubbed in favour of a match of Red Rover between teams.... The result was not favourable for the English side I;m afraid

I had a few friends that played lax back in the day... That is one tough and grueling sport... Put's most other organized sport to shame relative to the physical expenditures and direct punishment to the body.

I'd love to see them playing rugby (especially rugby league). And there's no way they'll be able to wear all that body armour. If they aren't prepared to play rugby league without all that body armour and have an eye gouged out or end up with cauliflower ears then they can never be proper rugby players.

Unbeknownst to most Lacrosse.. and very specifically Field Lacrosse.. is the Official National Game of Canada. It was played by the Iroquois for centuries, and taken on by settlers in the Iroquois territories (Quebec and Southern Ontario).. It was established with rules (pretty rugged ones) and specs well before the invention of hockey which developed in the late 19th century. So we should be good at it.
