One of the fiends who killed a Connecticut doctor’s wife and two daughters in a horrific home invasion insists that it was only a “couple of minutes’’ that he and his murderous cohort weren’t “nice.’’

In a pathetic interview from Northern Correction Institute in Somers, Conn., where he’s on Death Row, twisted killer Steven Hayes, 50, admits that he was the one who bought the gasoline that was doused on terrified Michaela Petit, 11, and her older sister, Hayley, 17, as they lay tied to their beds in their Cheshire, Conn., home that fateful morning July 23, 2007. Their mother, Jennifer Hawke-Petit, 48, was downstairs — raped and strangled by Hayes. Their father, Dr. William Petit, had been viciously beaten by Hayes’ accomplice, Joshua Komisarjevsky, 33, with a baseball bat and tied up in the basement.

I saw the HBO documentary on this not too long ago. What's nice about raping, beating, terrorizing and setting three woman on fire (two of whom were still alive, I believe the mother was spared that particular torment). This is without even beginning to consider his perverted accomplice who raped the thirteen year old and photographed it.

Even his brothers thought they should have gotten death for what they did.

they have equated it to a Manson slaying it was so horrendous .... and the police action was a total FUBAR, there they were outside of the home waiting for a SWAT team to arrive while inside the perps burned the two girls alive
