I hate to be a wet blanket, but I hear due to some inconsistencies and oddities in the statement, at this point they think he may have been exploited, dumped and felt jilted.
That's not being a wet blanket. It's always nice to hear when there WASN'T a sexual assault. ****ty if there were false accusations, but it still beats the alternative.
False allegations are not a joke but then neither is assault, regardless of who is assaulting who. It really pisses me off when I hear of women falsely accusing because I feel like it makes it that much harder for other women who have been assaulted to come forward. Honestly, I think if this is a false accusation, that would more than double the chances of preventing another man coming forward. False accusations need to be dealt with very severely, in my opinion.
