You read it here first. Gobble gobble.

According to new survey, more Americans would rather have Thanksgiving dinner with Tim Tebow than Big Bird or Lady Gaga. Oh and Mr. President, maybe next year

Tim Tebow is America's most popular Thanksgiving dinner guest, a new survery shows.

According to the survey, conducted by Nielsen, when asked who they would like to have as a Thanksgiving dinner guest, more Americans preferred Tim Tebow to President Obama.

The survey, released today by Destination America, shows that 23 percent of people in the United States said they would prefer the Jets backup to the Commander in Chief, who only garnered five percent of the vote.

Obama was also edged out by Big Bird and Lady Gaga.

Getting Tebow to your table for some turkey may be difficult tomorrow as the Jets play their AFC East rivals, the Patriots, in the third and final football game of the day.

Other results from the survey include:

- 44% voted for Pumpkin as their favorite pie
- 41% called Thanksgiving a “stress-free holiday”
- 64% of men said they were most looking forward to watching football on TV, with 43% of women preferring the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.

Good news. The Jets are playing on Thanksgiving this year so odds are Tebow will be available as a dinner guest since there is 0 chance he will be used as a QB.

While I like Tebow (am a Florida Gator fan, btw), I'm betting that someday there might be a possibility that he may have some little kids carrying his name around without the public knowing about it for now. Anybody remember Steve Garvey and the good image he had for such a long time? Things fell apart for him after the truth was made known ....

The problem with some trying to make Obama unpopular is that they are more
likely to make him immortal from a remembrance standpoint. Everyone will now
remember Obama but the people who attack him will not be remembered at all.
Funny, years ago when Lincoln made his Gettysburg Address it was criticised
as the worst made by a President now its part of the immortality of history

- The difference between inviting Tebow instead of Obama, which probably explains the results of the poll, is that Tebow would NOT:

- Insult the cook by telling her "You didn't cook that!".

- Slap a tax on the turkey and the rest of the meal if it was being eaten in households with incomes over some arbitrary figure.

- During Grace, launch into a Reverend Wright tirade from black liberation Christian theology about racist whites and CIA conspiracies against blacks and damn the US, etc., etc.

- Require all guests to contribute at least 25 grand each to the Democrats' 2016 campaign fund (hey, he's got to pay back Billy and Hillary for saving his electoral *** this time).

- Insist on a teleprompter in the dining room to help him participate in the conversation.

- Have Michelle inspect and veto any food that she deems as being unhealthy (which is any food that happens to be tasty).

Big deal. If they'd asked me, I'd have told em I'd rather have T-giving dinner with a dead bird than most other people, including Gaga and Tebow.

- karrie ... I'm still waiting breathlessly for you to show me how that political humour thing is supposed to be done. Please help if you can. Maybe you can just select the funniest three of your more than 22,000 posts for my education in the art of political comedy. That is probably all the help I need.

lmao You're doing fine just posting the stuff you usually post.
Got anything to say on topic?

Who is Tim Tebow? Doesn't sound like a real name to me.
Baseball player I think.

Oops. I was wrong. He's a "football" player.

Tim Tebow, QB for the New York Jets at NFL.com

A QB who nobody thinks can play QB.

He was drafted by Denver by a guy who got fired shortly thereafter.
He was thought of by replacement managment as a liability.
He was given the starting job in Denver as a desparation move and he proceeded to win 7 games and make the playoffs.
He won 1 playoff game.
Denver immediatly signed Peyton Manning (another QB in case you didn't recognize the name).
He was made available by Denver and traded for by the Jets -- a team that doesn't want or like him.
There he sits happily on the bench.

Also contreversal as he does a kneeldown prayer after his team scores a TD. Opponents mock him for it by doing it after they intercept him.
