This is another classic example of why people are turning away from the national

Jack was not a Saint, he did push for the kind of Canada he envisioned and that is
worthy of note.
Did I agree with all of his views? NO but I did respect his positon in Canadian Politics.
I did not respect Mulroney, Treadue was a mix of good and not so good, Jean he knew
how to manipulate the agenda.
The guy that get overlooked in all of the is Bob Stanfield who may have been the best
Prime Minister we never had.
Sun News stooped to a new low, with the makings of some very good points. The problem
is they overshadowed their story with nonsense.
They went after Trudeau, cause they just plain didn't like him, and they attacked Layton.
Mistake. Layton was never a Prime Minister, or even an active leader of the opposition,
yes leader by election but died before he served. The problem for Sun Media and those
who condone this is that regardless of his politics or the politics of individual Canadians.
People Liked Him. When you attack a dead person who people liked it backfires and it
proves just how no so smart these people are. The program was more about their commentary
and their visual presence rather than about the points they were making. Some of those points
are valid, its just they cheapened them wrapped in their own self importance.
And quite frankly I don't care if someone was a porn star a decade ago, I care about the work
they are doing today.
Comparing these people to Fox is not fair either, they are not good enough to ever appear on Fox
and Fox is not my favorite network.

I think the fact that he and Olivia Chow and her mother lived in Community housing and taking that space away from a family who deserved it, says enough about his character. Him getting busted in a late night rub-n-tug speaks volumes as well. This man was no saint.. He was out for his own self interest... regardless of who was impacted. He is not worthy of a tax-payer funded plaque..
I was hoping he scrapped NAFTA, screw free trade..how about Fair Trade..
