I think when you photoshop the Death Star into some city landscape, you're bound to get some weird shading.
Is that compared to the 'shading' you get from an actual death star? (if they actually existed and I have no idea why I am including this disclaimer) Star Wars is one of the hot new 'WOW' type games is it not? That will triple his profits compared to what anything in the past has.

Neither do I.

New??? Not to my knowledge, I think it's very old hat by now. I think the only reason he continues to make money with his "new" re-releases is that most people would go to the opening of an envelope if you told them there was something 'new' in it.

Still I'm pretty sure he won't be building the Death Star. California may be wacky but I'm fairly certain they still have building codes.

Maybe the painters were slack in ordering the right amount for the job and navy gray was the only color available. .... could happen ....

About you believing in one or why I posted that little bit of info?

Make it so it floats.

Building codes?? What about the insurance companies that want each person chipped even though the sign the 'no fault' waiver before setting a foot in the doorway.

Do you see how much land is available- it will also bring jobs- jobs that people need-

Maybe...I've just got really cynical towards the ultra-rich over the years.

Maybe Lucas is doing the right thing, it would be too bad if the low-income people he's talking about helping got caught in the middle of legal dog fight.

This sort of action should happen more often to these NIMBY bastards.

I'm guessing you live under a high voltage power line, across the street from a coal fired power plant, one block over from a provincial remand center, kitty-corner to a toxic waste dump and two houses down from a drug and alcohol treatment center.

People oppose things that can negatively affect their property values, air, water and soil quality and that might introduce noise pollution, more traffic and possibly more crime. And they should have that right.

I think this is a typical case of doing the right thing for the wrong reasons.
