...and for those with common sense that would like to see the standards for our police departments raised.
I've been saying that for years.

I believe many of these people have uniform fetishes.
What you believe, has been shown to be erroneous, at best, on numerous occasions. So it's no surprise this silly accusation is erroneous as well.

You may have noticed that many of the police supporters on this forum are ex-miltary. Says something don't you think?
Ya, ex military types have better problem solving skills, don't see a police state boogeyman under their beds, and understand command/authority structures.

You mean like this guy?
Your clear example of hypocrisy aside. Only people with seriously impeded problem solving skills, like yourself, generalize entire groups in such erroneous ways.

Perhaps the first problems, you should find the beginning of, are the problems you have.

Hey, I thought your MO was asking tough questions.

...and for those with common sense that would like to see the standards for our police departments raised. It's funny how some morons have a problem with that.

Last I checked standards were lowered by idiot leftists who were wrapped up in agenda's and affirmative action. Seems those same leftists wanted standards lowered so we could fill quota's. Now they want standards raised? Or do they want separate standards?

I'm all about raising standards. They should raise them in the Fire Department as well. Maybe we could save a few bucks and get those lazy fire fighters in shape by having them sling bags on the back of a garbage truck instead of paying them to spend 97% of their time surfing the net--quoting Wilkipedia and bashing cops?

:evil3:Let's start a petition Cannuck!

I'm well aware of why the standards have been lowered. It is nice that you've finally extricated your head from your rectum and admitted that this is indeed the case. Another reason for the lowered standard is pay. It's just not attractive enough.

Agreed. It is happening slowly but given that 78% of all Canadian firefighters volunteer their time to do it, only an idiot would think it can be done overnight. Maybe we can fire all the volunteers if it makes you feel better. I'm ready to quit anyway.

Perhaps you can find a post on here where I said standards were not lowered. Or simply run away and deny I asked you..

I'm not surprised, you strike me as a guy who bails when times are tough.

I've known that was your position since Ranter's. I think the only reason why it's a revelation to some, is because they recently removed their own head from their rectum. Briefly mind you, for fresh air.

So you think it can be done over night?

I bet the what, $26/hr pay and the 15% tax credit makes volunteering pretty hard going.

That's interesting because you strike me as a guy that wouldn't even bother to get involved in the first place. Can't say I'm surprised you would try (pathetically) to insult somebody for doing his time and moving on.

I guess you've been attacking me when I say standards are in the toilet because.....?

Problems with your perceptions. Not really surprising.

Can't say I'm surprised you would try (pathetically) to insult somebody for doing his time and moving on.
Maybe he was just following your pathetic lead.

I guess you've been attacking me when I say standards are in the toilet because.....?
... that's not all you say, for one. Your comprehension issues and propensity for making up your own version of what people post , the other.

I bet the what, $26/hr pay and the 15% tax credit makes volunteering pretty hard going.
I must be on ignore.

Since volunteer is a wee bit of a misnomer. Making "volunteer their time" a wee bit of an emotional plea and stretch.

You're an idiot. Every single volunteer firefighter I know returns his honorariums to the department to be used for equipment and supplies. Our department is paid $15/hour when the radios go off. We get paid nothing to train. The $3000 tax credit is available only if you complete 200 hours of volunteer service. Most firefighters in smaller departments won't qualify unless they take extra training.

Volunteer Firefighter Tax Credit (VFTC)

Unlike the special interest group you associate, volunteer fire fighters don't do it for monetary gain.

I don't have a lot of time for whiners Cannuck. You're a whiner. You lash out, start threads that bash other organizations, then piss and moan about being attacked when you get a taste of your own medicine.

I guess you've been attacking me when I say standards are in the toilet because.....?
-And apparently you're becoming a professional victim as well.

Pissing and moaning? Clearly you misunderstand what is concurring on your computer screen.

Nice dodge. I pet CB is proud of you.

Oh so true, which makes this...

Far more funny.

Pissing and moaning?
Yep, your last post being an excellent example.

Nice dodge. I pet CB is proud of you.
The palpable irony aside. I pet (LOL) I am. Unlike you, I have principles.
