Actually, you *can* and it *is* "dictated" that immigrants must speak English if they're not going to speak French. There's only two official national languages - English and French - so if they want to do business here it has to be one of those two.Quebecers are pigs.
A big coincidence that Quebecers wrote the immigration laws and Quebec has received the least amount of immigrants since. Quebec can dictate that the immigrants must speak French but here in British Columbia we cannot dictate they speak English.
What are they doing, speaking French?My home town in British Columbia is completely unrecognizable and it's hard to find anyone speaking a word of English these days. Whereas, Quebec is still 98% Canadian.
If not French or English they're going to have to learn one of the two sooner or later, because although Federally the government is required to provide services in both languages, Provincially they are not. Provincially the language of BC is English. The only province that is officially bilingual on a provincial level is New Brunswick.
(By the way, did you know you can't get a government job in the state of Main unless you can speak French, plus also for some departments in Vermont?)
Destroy it how?Assholes in Montreal and Quebec using "divide and conquer" techniques to destroy Anglo-Canada
Anyone with an IQ above that of hamster would be alarmed at the Reform Party (now renamed to the Conservative Party, and having nothing to do with the Progressive Conservative Party of the Joe Clark days) if they were to actually read the party's platform, which is hard to find, because the now-called Conservative but-actually Reform party does everything it can to *not* tell anyone what it's objectives are... ever tried to get an interview with one of Harper's ministers?but are now alarmed that we voted Reform and Conservative;
They forgot to mention vastly under educated and oblivious to how global economics works towards driving down the standard of living to that of a Central American as the Plutocrats skim more and more money towards themselves under the mantra of "free-trade", and how easy it is for Plutocrats in New York to puppet someone like Harper when his constituents are the type to think the Bible was originally written in English.en masse, since the 1990s and they have the guts to call us reactionary, racist, Anti-Quebec and every other term that pops into their heads and pretend they don't have a clue why everyone out west hates Quebec!
If you live in BC you live so far away from Quebec I can't possibly see why you would give a hoot what Quebec wants to do to itself. It's their Province. That's why we have provinces.I don't ever want an Union with Quebec.
*Sigh*, it would only take a 250 kiloton bomb to take out Quebec City.Only thing I would ever give Quebec is a 22 megaton nuclear warhead on Quebec City.
22 Megatoners are for things like NY or Chicago or LA if you also want to take out their surrounding metro districts and you're not sure of the accuracy of your delivery system.
