Panic attacks

Last time I had a panic attack was when Jean Chretien won another majority.

It's good to be light-hearted Jack but I can tell you, had you ever experienced a true panic attack, you would think you were having a major heart attack. For anyone who is lucky enough to never go through one, I can tell you that you cannot begin to know the horrendous feeling it brings to your mind and body. Try to imagine literally being thrown into a lion's den and you might start to understand how someone feels who is having a panic anxiety attack.

VanIsle, I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance for irregular heart beat (my wife insisted).

Tests proved that this particular occasion was NOT a heart attack, but I had had one - a "SILENT" one - sometimes in the past, and was not even aware of it.

I am not trying to minimize panic attacks. After all, only the person who experiences can know how it feels.

If I was out of line, I apolgize.
