Arizona's New Flag...

With all the anti-Immigration and other lightning rod issues the state of Arizona is passing.. I think the state of Arizona needs to change their flag.

Not really for or against the new law, just think their are better ways to enforce immigration laws..

I would start by building a fence... then when you have control over the flow of illegals, deal with the ones already in the USA.

Actually, that symbol on the flag is quite appropriate, considering the history of its use, so you have a point.

Indeed, it is easy to control the flow of illegal immigrants. There is a way, but there isn’t a will.

Build a fence between the US/Mexico border. Electrify it. Then widely advertise in Mexico that USA has built an electrified fence, and those who attempt to cross into USA illegally risk serious injury or death.

No doubt there will be a few attempts. After news of injuries or fatalities reach Mexico, the flow of illegal will cease or will be down to a trickle.

But the Arizona law was not about immigration, it was about racism and xenophobia. The fact is, USA isn’t really interested in curbing the flow of illegals, they do work which most Americans are loath to do.

But the feds are not worried about this. Instead they claim to be worried about the Somalia-based al-Shabaab terrorist group.

As pointed out in an earlier thread this is a false statement. A few years back ICE raided meat packing plants in the Midwest and detained the illegals for deportation. Shortly after the lines were out the door with people looking for jobs. Americans were looking for jobs that we have been told we are unwilling to do.

Iron...does this surprise you? In the past the racism card was used sparringly. Now it is used so very much that it just draws a chuckle and one of these ( :roll: ). People aren't buying that garbage anymore. Joey is a Scientologist and he believes in the fair game principle. The fair game tactic.
