America’s Military Embraces Gay Rights

America’s President Obama said that he will abolish the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy in the military.

The world will finally see the tough forces and the positive influences the gays have had on the soldiers like the Marines and the Navy Seals with their no man left behind.

In all the movies and TV shows about the U.S. military they are hugging each other and slapping everybody’s A$$ after they come back from a fire fight.

In other countries military after a hard mission they just go home or to a bar.

Who would have thought the gays could finally serve their country with honour as gays

It is not up to Obama to change the policy, Liberalman, it is up to the Congress. And it will be a tough sale in the Congress.

Anyway, if they do abolish the ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy, they will only be entering the 21st century, many developed countries permit gays to serve in military. Canadian military even permits gay marriages.

They held their first gay marriage a few months after Parliament legalized gay marriage. So if USA does abolish such a regressive policy (I still think it is a long shot), it will be about time.
