Well, you are welcome to become a world renowned expert in economics (another Samuelson), politics (another Reagan or Clinton), science (another Einstein), music (another Beethoven) and sex (another Casanova or another Dr. Ruth) by reading copy and pastes on the internet. I think I will pass.

'Environmentalists, already peeved with the administration’s handling of the Gulf oil spill, are accusing President Obama of breaking his campaign pledge to end the slaughter of whales. The Obama administration is leading an effort within the International Whaling Commission to lift a 24-year international ban on commercial whaling for Japan, Norway and Iceland, the remaining three countries in the 88-member commission that still hunt whales.'

I agree with the ban, but other than taking action against their economy's how can we stop them?

All I found said that Obama & Co. are waiting to see the final draft. I also found a bit of news that said he made comments requesting a ban on trade in whale meat.
That hardly sounds like he's backing the killing of whales.
Besides that what I've seen is an over-reaction by the environuts that prompts them to mislead people by saying that the Obama admin actively is looking to ban restrictions. Quit listening to the spin and look at the facts.

Speaking of whales...the new season of Whale Wars is on!

I love watching the crew of the Sea Sheppard got tooled week after week. This season they introduce a new high speed, million dollar boat that looks like the Bat Boat from Batman.

Spoiler... it is now sitting on the bottom of the Antartic Ocean.

Where is the Antarctic Ocean?

Thsi is not the first act of high treason that Obama has committed, according to the teabaggers. According to teabaggers, Obama committed an act of high treason the day he decided to run for presidency, since (again, according to teabgaggers) he is a Muslim terrorist and an illegal alien.

This is not a tea bagger accusation, Teflon Obama seems to be getting away with a lot. When the democrats lose seats in November they may try to push thru some of their more outrageous changes with a "lame duck" congress. The games are just beginning.

Democratic House members are so worried about the fall elections they're leaving Washington on July 30, a full week earlier than normal—and they won't return until mid-September. Members gulped when National Journal's Charlie Cook, the Beltway's leading political handicapper, predicted last month "the House is gone," meaning a GOP takeover. He thinks Democrats will hold the Senate, but with a significantly reduced majority.
The rush to recess gives Democrats little time to pass any major laws. That's why there have been signs in recent weeks that party leaders are planning an ambitious, lame-duck session to muscle through bills in December they don't want to defend before November. Retiring or defeated members of Congress would then be able to vote for sweeping legislation without any fear of voter retaliation.

'With practically every action, President Barack Obama is demonstrating that he is, indeed, in a Hitler-in- the-bunker mode. Sources close to the White House have reported that the President went absolutely berserk over an open letter to him, issued by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, assailing the Administration for failing to do anything to promote jobs, at a time when this is the number one problem on the minds of the vast majority of Americans.'
