Wow....I figured Obama would take the Brass Ring, but I honestly figured it would be a much
closer race than it's turning out to be. I was guessing a neck in neck race with even a slight
McCain lead until they got to the West Coast states and Obama ran away with the prize.

BO now has complete power. If I were an American right now, I'd be wary. The intent was to punish the Republicans, more specifically Bush.

Good for us in Afghanistan......interesting article in today's Globe and Mail.......said the US military was actually looking to Obama to win so that they can win in Afghanistan......troop surge, plus Obama's following around the world may move other NATO nations to send troops.

Otherwise, I feel a little sorry for the guy......he simply can't live up to expectations..........and will have to find a way to tone down people's expectations........
