The way they hijacked the last election I wouldn't doubt if they find a way for him to run again,
as it would still be interesting to have been a fly on the wall in Ohio when votes were counted

Yes there was. There was a US Election in 1944 (ww2 did not end until 1945) there was also an election during WW1. Woodrow Wilson got elected on this slogan... "I kept the USA out of the war" then he was elected and the US went to war.
Roosevelt ended up serving 4 terms because of the war and he was the only US president to ever serve more than two terms.
