- G ... Thanks. I am already finding out that grandparenting is a hellava lot less stressful and more fun than parenting is. As a grandparent, you get to take the young ones when it is most convenient to you and you can dote on them instead of having to discipline them. The only problem in our case is that the two grandkids are in Seattle and we're in the GTA so I only get to see them two or three times a year.
