The Biggest Lesson From The Two Party Conventions

- There were obviously a number of things that one could take away from observing the GOP and the Democratic conventions during the past couple of weeks.

- But as a frequent observer of both conventions the biggest lesson I got from the two is what the choice of speakers and the content of their speeches said about the two presidential candidates.

- At the GOP convention, a lot of speakers, particularly on Thursday the final day of the convention, were there to give glowing testimonials about Mitt Romney the business turnaround and launch superstar, the saviour of the 2002 Olympics, the turnaround governor of Massachusetts and, the man who during almost all of his life has devoted 10 to 20 hours a week of his own time and frequently his own money serving those in his community who were less fortunate and/or experiencing serious health and financial crises.

- None of these speakers was currently employed by Romney, most had never been employed by Mitt, some were unabashed Democrats who still supported Romney for president, some were very ordinary people in terms of careers and socio-economic status who obviously could have done absolutely nothing for Romney when he gave of his own time and money somtetimes over thirty years ago to go to their aid and it was obvious that with every one of these speakers Mitt Romney made both a positive difference in their lvies and an extraordinary impression on them. Not one of these speakers was a current or apparently aspiring politician.

- At the Democratic convention, nobody other than his wife, a former president who hates him but who needs to keep the partry happy for his wife's presidential shot in 2016, and current and aspiring politicans and political appointees and employees of Obama spoke about the president and nobody spoke about anything he ever accomplished for others or even for himself prior to his bizarre assumption of the presidency in 2008.

- It was as if he had been a complete unknown or at least an unaccomplished nobody until four years ago.

- Yes, Obama in 2008 was fellated instead of vetted by a worshipful liberal media and true we know almost nothing except from his own nose stretcher autobiographies about his childhood, his parents, his grandparents who raised him, his friends and mentors growing up, his grades in elementary and high school and in university and what - if anything at all - he ever did voluntarily and on his own time and money or even on government time and taxpayers' money to help others succeed or to help them heal from health, financial and other crises.

- Since the last thing Obama wants to talk about these days is his record of broken promises, failures and compounding inherited problems during the past four years, and since he spent several years on the mean streets of Chicago as a community organizer where there were no lack of people urgently needing assistance, I would have assumed that Obama could come up with at least a few Chicago folks who could speak to his decency, humanity, selflessness, compassion and helpfulness in their lives and their community if he actually possessed and manifested any of these qualities.

- But it appears that Obama was a selfish, manipulative, narcissistic weasel who devoted himself totally to his own well being and to saying and doing whatever it took to climb the greasy political poll in the crookedest city in America in the crookedest state of the union in which the last two governors are currently serving prison time. (There is a two term rule in Illinois - one term in the State House followed by one term in The Big House.)

- The difference in the motivations and experiences of those who testified for Romney and those who testified for Obama was blindingly obvious and highly revealing of the difference in the characters and compassion of the two party leaders.

- People who knew Romney in the range of facets of his personal and professional life over a more than three decade span came forward to testify to the humanity and the brilliance and the value of this outstanding American.

- People who were depending on Obama for their political careers came forward to read prepared bull**** scripts about Obama's supposed accomplishments in the only four years of his 51 year existence we are grudgingly allowed to even superficially examine and timidly question.

- The funniest testimony in this regard was when Barack's biggest ass kisser, his vice president Joe Biden, spoke about how his father respected and admired Obama and then realized that his bull**** had gone too far since his father died before Biden ever met Obama and so Joe changed this to "he would have respected and admired Barack if he were still alive".

- In any case, the speakers on behalf of Mitt Romney provided evidence of a life well and successfully and compassionately lived while the speakers on behalf of Barack Obama provided a contrast that gives real credence to Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood's statement a couple of days ago that "President Obama is the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people".

- To Americans voting this November, I would only say "Fool you once, shame on Obama, fool you twice, you deserve the severe screwing you are sure to get"..
