Other than highlighting the importance of peripheral vision, not afforded by the burka (I do hope that poor woman was OK), I saw nothing out of the ordinary, for a security/protection detail.

Yeah. Looks to me as if the person walked into traffic as if they had the right of way. Tragic, but an accident.

You also don't just stop a security detail (who knows who they were driving/escorting anyway) in the middle of a jammed street in a place like that. And who is to say that none of the lead vehicles didn't radio for assistance?

No, you don't. You, your client or your buddies get dead doing that, worst case scenario. Best case, you end up working for a cheaper contractor. Maybe.

Too much Hollywood
Not enough, these guys actually have to change clips.

Video dated 2006.

His eyes must be all crazy looking at temperature graphs and pie charts and needed a trip down memory lane.

Exactly.

The guy going "oh My God, Oh my God" did not sound particularly happy about it all, but nobody sane is going to stop.

Especially as it was a protection detail......who were they guarding??/ BTW, Blackwater lost not ONE single individual under their protection.

Not one.

Does that mean Canadian troops run over pedestrians, shoot civilian vehicles, etc.?
I have just two questions...

How do you differentiate a civilian vehicle from a civilian vehicle, whose operator has tactical intension, in a few seconds?

How do you differentiate a civilian accidentally hit, from a civilian that is willing to step in front of a convoy for tactical reasons?

Um, I saw other pedestrians rushing towards the woman. I can understand a few vehicle crunches, but firing into traffic?

I didn't get that either

If it were me, I'd have chosen a route with a lot less traffic.

In a major city?

Not sure... but they're paying the guys that do MILLIONS to train them.

Dude... this stuff is all over the NET.

Yeah you're right... Why even post any content at all relating to news, fraud, scams, murders, war, economics, science, religion, etc. Or anything at all really. It's all over the net after all in some form or another. It's probably happened before in nearly the same fashion.

Andem could just host a chat room for trolls.

Religion ids the promoted reason, the ones with all the guns are not religious, they are the front-line for international corporations who would rather kill people and steal the natural resources. For being so 'knowledgeable' how did this slip by you?
