US Election - Republican Candidates -
Cain( Best Republican of the Bunch ) Covers Obama...Bachmann Covers Palin ...Mit Romney Worth $170-250 million...Obama's Campaign cost $170-200 million..
Mit Romney ..Wins as Republican Representative...
I am still An Obamamaniac...

Thank God.
The alternative hegemony in the last 65 years would have passed from the Soviet Union to China.
You should get down on your knees every night and thank God that the USA is the most powerful nation on earth, and that they inherited that position from Great Britain.
It has made us rich and free.

I don't think anything would get me to vote for President Obama, he is a known quantity and I do not want 4 more years of his policies. Hope "The Godfather of Pizza" somehow finds his way back, if not anyone but Perry.

The biggest problem with the U.S. election is the number of people discussing it for the length of time they do. The election is early Nov. , we shouldn't hear a peep before Sept. 15. How much money is squandered on that charade by a country that is strapped?

I imagine there are a few million Republicans who would agree with you. I would have to agree to the extent, that he doesn't appear to be too effective, eg. Guantanimo hasn't been shut down as promised. I not sure if it is realistic to mend the damage done by the sub prime mortgages or even if its his job to do so, but the recovery from that little fiasco seems to be slow. Perhaps people just expect too much from politicians and over rate their ability. On the other hand maybe too much ability is not a good thing.

"As the nineteenth century was that of the United States, so I think we can claim that Canada shall build the twentieth"
- Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Prime Minister, 1904
Hey! Unfair! The US already had the 19th century!

Romney Wins Arizona; Locked in Tight Race in Michigan
Mitt Romney has won the Republican presidential primary in Arizona, based on preliminary exit polling, but is locked in a tight battle with Rick Santorum in Michigan, a crucial electoral battleground where Mr. Romney’s hometown advantage has all but evaporated.
Mr. Romney’s victory in Arizona will earn him 29 delegates, extending the lead he already enjoys over his rivals. The win comes after his rivals largely conceded that Mr. Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, would take the border state.
But Michigan has been a much tougher challenge for Mr. Romney, who was raised in the state and whose father served as the state’s governor. Exit polls and early returns showed Mr. Santorum mounting a fierce challenge to Mr. Romney in a state that was not expected to be close just weeks ago.

Romney Wins Michigan Primary

If one of the present four Republicans won the election, the world will be the loser.
We would face a dark ages never mind an ice age. I personally have never seen
such a collection of misfits. We have two out there talking about social issues that
deal more with the spiritual realm rather than practical down to earth serious issues.
Mit here is a so called mainstream Republican, and if that is true we are going to see
the middle class get more kicks in the butt, and more unemployment than we have
seen with Obama. Actually the unemployment picture is improving, and it has a long
way to go thanks to the Republicans who created the mess in the first place.
Ron Paul is out to lunch but at least he is sincere about his beliefs. We have a group
of pandering self serving folks who don't understand the American people let alone the
situation the country is really in.
Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum will each get half of Michigan's 30 delegates, according to CNN estimates.
Romney won the popular vote in Tuesday's Michigan Republican presidential primary. However, Michigan's delegates are distributed proportionally.
A total of 1,144 delegates are needed to clinch the GOP nomination.
