My first impression was not good.....she seriously screwed up the history of the USA when talking about slavery......

Can the republicans find anyone with an IQ higher than their shoe size to run????

Oh, before you think I've gone all liberal, Obama doesn't HAVE an IQ, according to all indications.

At this point, Ron Paul should start campaigning.

Not that I want to look gung ho about her candidacy however she is tax lawyer with a degree from William & Mary (not a slouch school). Her view of American History regarding the Founding Fathers and slavery is twisted for all intents & purposes to the general public. The view from her from the side of the street (the evangical christian right) it is a reality the FF's were working toward a humanitian, christian outcome for the slaves.

Don`t know much about the lady, but judging from her bio on Wikipedia she is a typical Republican lightweight. I think the GOP is going to have to do better than this if it wants to beat Obama.

Yeah, tax lawyers aren't too bright; community activists are much smarter.

Too funny. It seems like history is not one of our strong points. Too sad.

No, the GOP field is lack luster this time around. I think that securing both houses of Congress is more important.

Just because she's educated doesn't mean she's bright.

Rep. Michele Bachmann. She has a notorious reputation for making false statements.

http://www.politifact.com/personalit...nn/statements/

"The top 1 percent of income-earners pay about 40 percent of all taxes into the federal government."

"One. That's the number of new drilling permits under the Obama administration since they came into office."

"The president of the United States will be taking a trip over to India that is expected to cost the taxpayers $200 million a day."

I hope she doesn't think she's going to be the Republican candidate and be able to say stuff like that without the media refuting her all the time

Knowing you, DurkaDurka, you probably would enjoy a cat fight between Hillary Clinton and Helen Thomas more.

A better question is does a politician exist that isn't a corporate shrill? Can we have leaders that aren't corporate shrills? ? I am depressed that we live in a fascist era where corporations ruin our countries.

Nothing irks a mindless liberal more than an attractive female who is pro-life. Or one who has looked after 23 foster children. In addition to being a lawyer. And a lawfully elected Representative.

Being a useful member of society and a successful woman REALLY bugs liberals.

See the hateful photoshop above for clear illustration of sick liberal mindset.

And the sick puppy thinks that it is funny.

Which is why Bachmann has taken over $200,000 in welfare from the government. LOL!

gopher, if YOU looked after and cared for 23 foster children you would need no less.

Of course, as a liberal, you would never have the heart to care for children. Far more convenient to murder them by abortion.

Currently his best option is to keep his mouth shut and let the other nutters talk themselves out of the job.

Well in Canada we have for the leader of the official opposition a shill for the government employees unions. Is that far enough out in left field for you?

Thank you for recognizing the fact that those who actually care about their fellow citizens might have a slightly higher IQ than those who are concerned with collecting taxes and who actually only worked for a total of five years. Thank you also for actually having the courage (this time) to comment on one of my posts instead of giving it a thumbs down without explanation as you did last time.

Everyone is pretty putting down all the Republican candidates for what ever reason and applauding just about anything a Democrat says or does. (Wiener excepted)

Great Orators of the Democrat Party

"One man with courage makes a majority." - Andrew Jackson

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." - Franklin D.
Roosevelt

"The buck stops here.." - Harry S. Truman

"Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your
country." - John F. Kennedy

And, from today's genius Democrats...

"It depends what your definition of 'Sex' is?'' - Bill Clinton

"That Obama ... I would like to cut his NUTS off." - Jesse Jackson

"Those rumors are false .... I believe in the sanctity of marriage." -
John Edward's

"I invented the Internet." - Al Gore

"The next Person that tells me I'm not religious, I'm going to shove my
rosary beads up their ***." - Joe Bidden

"America is ... Is no longer, uh, what it ... It, uh, could be, uh,
what it was once was ... Uh, and I say to myself, 'uh, I don't want
that future, uh, uh for my children." - Barack Obama

"I have campaigned in all 57 states." - Barack Obama (Quoted 200

"You don't need God anymore, you have us Democrats." - Nancy Pelosi
(Quoted 2006)

"Paying taxes is voluntary." - Sen. Harry Reid

"Bill is the greatest husband and father I know. No one is more
faithful, true, and honest than he." - Hillary Clinton (Quoted 199

And the most recent gem of wisdom from the "Mother Moron":

"We just have to pass the Healthcare Bill to see what's in it."

- Nancy Pelosi (Quoted March, 2010)

HOW LUCKY CAN WE BE - TO HAVE SUCH BRILLIANT MINDS IN CHARGE OF OUR
ONCE GREAT COUNTRY?

''Life's tough ... it's even tougher if you're stupid.''

Wayne

I always laugh at people who think that quote is silly. The Globe and Mail did a survey, around that time, of young people (16 to 20, if I recall), and a majority of them did not consider oral sex to be sex.

So there is a point to what Clinton said; a significant proportion of society does not consider oral to be 'sex'.

Whether you, or I, agree with that is a separate point. My only point is that he had a reason for saying that, and it is a perfectly logical question, in the circumstances.

Yup, some of the young actually thought that, me I say he was lucky. That was a silly part of our history.

You obviously have missed my earlier posts in which I said I am a pro-lifer. You also missed the fact that the majorities in the Roe and Casey decisions were Republicans.
