If you think you have seen it all then you are wrong, Google Earth and Google Map does not allow you to see everything. There are some places or secrets which are kept under darkness by Google Maps. Below is the list of 10 places which are not allowed to see on Google Maps. Mashable (external - login to view) came up with a collection which we will be sharing with you.

here:

Cool, I really do wish they'd bring back the thumbs up option for OP's.

strange, I have no problem bringing up Babylon on google maps.... Considering its an archeological site, I really don't know why they expect it to be "bustling".

I agree. I see no reason to hide Babylon.

LOL. I love the "mysterious Russian site".

Shades of the cold war. Not at all ominous.

I'm sure a lot of it has to do with sloppy work, syntax and happenstance. Bing maps has better images of some of these places too.

As for Babylon, if you request 'Ancient Babylon', pas de problem:

Ancient Babylon, Al-Mahawil, Bbil, Iraq - Google Maps (external - login to view)

Oh well, I'm sure the Masons are behind some of these mysteries.

I know that. The map they have is marked in google as being Babil, which is the ancient word for Babylonia or the city of Babil/Babylon. There is no modern, bustling city of Babylon.

Why? Is it a no CM Tower?

Well, the CN Tower is there in glorious detail. But, are those cattle on the field at the Rogers Centre?
