YouTube unveils ugly new design

For those of you who have set YouTube as your default home page and woke up to the new look, no, that isn't dirt on your computer screen. It's actually YouTube's new background image.

YouTube has gone ahead and released a new design on their web site, following the current Google redesign spree across as many products possible. The wheels were in motion shortly after co-founder Larry Page took the CEO chair at the Mountain View, California headquarters.

It run slowly on my laptop and correclty on my gamer pc. I like to new youtube but I am not sure if the old one was better.

It's even more restrictive than before. the algorithm won't let me surf videos, it just shows me more like I've previously viewed. I liked it when every video posted cycled through the first page. It was then possible to see different things not just the hack vloggers Youtube spews out to get page hits and subsequently ad revenue.
Youtube is now merely a tool of Google Adsense.

I actually like the new design. I like how you can check out things that are "trending" or a "popular". And it doesn't run sluggish for me at all.
