BEIJING - World top ranked Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark claimed the title of women's singles at 2010 China Open, beating Russia's second seed Vera Zvonareva 2-1 here on Monday.
The 20-year-old Wozniacki, top seed of the 4.5-million-US-dollar Crown Jewel tournament, defeated Zvonareva 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in the final to take her sixth title of this season.
The Dane is now 28-3 since Wimbledon, winning five of her last seven tournaments.
