David Beckham sues prostitute for £5m | News.com.au
Um.... I'm guessing it did happen and his friend who is corroborating his whereabouts was the person in the threesome to make it a foursome...... but then again, maybe he is innocent..... but if he never did it and it's all a pile of lies, what's with the "Global Hunt" for this person, other then trying to over-act his role as the innocent victim?
Most other people will come out and say it's all BS, laugh at the idea of the situation, perhaps sue the magazine that reported it..... but to go on a global man hunt for this woman?
Somebody's over compensating for something.
FOOTBALLER David Beckham is set claim £5 million ($8.2 million) in damages from the prostitute who alleged he had a threesome with her and another escort.
According to The Sun newspaper, Beckham ordered a global hunt for 26-year-old Irma Nici so he could serve her with a writ.
Beckham, 35, acted after her claims were published in US gossip magazine In Touch. His lawyers will also demand a front-cover apology from the magazine.
A friend of the England footballer said: "David is prepared to scour the Earth for this woman, who seems to think she could make up a complete fantasy that is extremely hurtful to him and his family.
"She has treated his wife and children with such disregard he is not prepared to let this one go."
Bosnian-born Nici, who was raised in Britain, claimed New York's Le Parker Meridien hotel was the venue for the threesome in 2007. But Beckham's friend said: "David can prove he wasn't there. She cannot prove he was."
Beckham's wife, Victoria, told relatives she was standing firmly by the star.
A source said, "She knows these allegations are a complete falsehood and they will tackle this problem head on, together, as a family."
Media law expert Sandy Baron said: "David Beckham would be entitled to punitive damages that potentially could run into the millions, particularly if he can prove the allegations were malicious or published with total disregard for the truth. The figure suggested of £5 million is certainly possible."
