So with another CFL season on its way in roughly a months time, we have so many interesting and exciting stories to come!

I'm sure some are wondering who will get better and who won't!

The Schedule looks to be a great one this season and I can hardly wait for July 1st and Kick off to another great season! :)

So who is going to watch training camp in their area? The B.C. Lions are having their camp in Kamloops, that's great.

Calgary is in McMahon like always, the Esks are holding camp for the first time in Commonwealth Stadium, the Roughriders are holding it in Regina..

I'm not quite sure about the other teams although I think Montreal is holding it in another location.

Anyone else have something to add?

I know the lions have a much different team than last year,
many changes, and casey printers is their starting quarter-
back, and empire station, now completely brought back up
to snuff for this season, and everyone's excited about
having the CFL outdoors in vancouver again, at least for
two years, then back to B.C. Place, with new roof.

I love the CFL, need to learn much more, but I will be
watching and reading with much interest.

Love the CFL.

A great Alouettes' fan, I consider them to be the elite team in the league. Although, as a fan of the entire league, it is bit too early in the season to tell anything on any other particular team.

It always takes a few games to see where everyone is shaking out. Should be fairly competitive all around this year.

Saskatchewan will win the Grey Cup, because between last year and this year they've learned how to count. You heard it first here.

With training camp for rookies well underway and the vets camp opening on Saturday, I thought I would share some Rider news.

Sask got the first draft pick this year after doing an overnight deal with Montreal who was supposed to get first pick. We got Shomari Williams a defensive end who played in the 2009 Vanier Cup. Apparently he is working out well in training camp according to Ken Miller.

The team also signed Prechae Rodriquez who played for the Ti-Cats last season. I like Prechae and hope he does well in camp as I would like to see him become a starter. He is very exciting to watch on the field.

Dominique Dorsey was acquired from the Argos during the offseason and he will bring some talent to the kick-off return plays. He has great speed and seems to be doing well in training camp.

The Riders currently have five QBs in training camp but the one I am keeping me eye on is Ryan Dinwiddie who was released by the Bombers in 2009. Be good to see him backing up Darian, our main man at the helm.

Finally, in case anyone might be interested these are the rule changes for the 2010 season.

CFL Rule Changes

This year's rule changes include:

- teams that score a touchdown in overtime are required to go for a two-point convert by running or passing the ball into the end zone instead of kicking for a single point.

- A team that gives up a field goal (during regulation time) will have the option of scrimmaging from its 35-yard line instead of receiving a kick-off.

- There will be no penalty for pass interference applied if a forward pass is deemed uncatchable.

- When a ball is punted, hits the ground and hits a player from the covering team, it will result in a penalty of five instead of fifteen yards.

First game of the season is June 13. BC will travel to Regina for the exhibition game. Hope the pussycats have learned a bit of discipline during the off-season or they will be in for a severe tongue lashing from the fans in Mosaic stadium.

Was reading today that Buck Pierce has joined the Bombers. Now some may think this is a good thing... but, honestly after having suffered two concussions, I think he is nuts to still be playing football. Why take the chance of getting creamed yet again. There are very serious long term effects of concussions. But then, that's just my opinion.

Great photoshop pic, Alley. :lol::lol::lol:

Will be interesting to see what the pussycats do this year. Too bad they couldn't at least get rid of that poor fellow who coaches them, they might have a better chance of winning a few games. ;-);-)

I hope all you Rider's fans are buying up Lions tickets right now. Won't be an easy ticket to get at Empire Field during the season.

Rider fans are much too busy snapping up the very few remaining tickets for Rider games at home, Kreskin. I am glad to see that the Lions will be playing in Empire stadium - they might actually have sell-out crowds for a change.

I was hoping to catch the July 1st game at Mosaic this year but there are only singles left or really really poor seating. Too bad, it would have been great to be there when the Riders win that one!

I was also hoping to take in a Rider's game, Haz. I am flying back in August for my Mum's 90th but the dates don't coincide, darn it. I am going to visit Taylor Field.... (it will always be Taylor Field for me)... probably for one last time, if Wall gets his way re. the Dome.
Have been following the Rider team news closely since the roster was published. Looks like we have some really great prospects this year. Am waiting to read reports about the Vets training camp and see what shakes down. The team will have to start releasing players soon.

The Alouettes are my second favorite team, Avro. I really like Cavillo, he is a grand example of what vets in this league can accomplish and how their leadership can mean so much to the strength of a team. After they won the cup, I told my sister that part of me was really, really happy for Cavillo and the team. Sask couldn't have played a better team for the Cup.

The only time I don't cheer for them is when they play my team. :)

I think the Lions will kick some ass this year. Wally's focusing on putting together a good O-line. If Printers stays healthy, and they can run the ball, the rest of the West better tighten up their chin-straps.

Gopher, nice to see your interest. If I could I would certainly get it beamed below the 49th.
