UFC 97: U.S.A. loses to Poland, seriously

MONTREAL - The Polish Experiment seems to be working just fine.
Krzysztof Soszynski to force Brian Stann to tap out 3:53 into the first round of their light heavyweight bout at UFC 97.
Soszynski (18-9-1), fighting out of Winnipeg, used a kimura to defeat Stann, who was making his UFC debut after the WEC folded its light heavyweight division.
"This comes as close as watching my son be born and getting married," Soszynski said of fighting in his home country. "The ending, I always to get side mount and go for the kimura. Not too many people can get out of my kimura."
Stann is 6-2. Soszynski won submission of the night and brings home an extra $70,000, the largest bonus purse in UFC history, according the president Dana White.
