Any questions about his ability to play a short game was put to rest this week. He won the British Open using a driver on only one of 72 holes. 11th professional major championship. The guy's a machine.
I liked the interview with John Daly where they would say a name and he would give his remarks:
Tiger Woods: "Will be the greatest golfer of all time"
Jack Nicklaus: "Is the greatest golfer of all time".
He needs 7 majors to match Jack. At age 30 I say his chances are pretty good. When Tiger came on the scene in 97 Nicklaus predicted Tiger would win 10 green jackets.
My point is this: Tiger is the man. I'm glad he showed up in my generation.
