The McMaster Marauders(Hamilton) are taking on the many-titled Rouge et Or(Quebec City) in the Vanier Cup tonight. So far the Marauders have raided the Or to the tune of 23 unanswered points at half-time. The Marauders are so exciting to watch. Their playing calling is keeping the vaunted Or defense off-guard and unprepared changing almost at whim.

Kyle Quinlan, the Marauder QB, is poised, almost perfect on the night so far, shows his athleticism as he calls his own number and takes off down the field - at one point hurdling an opponent to get the extra yards for the down. The Marauder D has sacked the Or QB 3 times so far and effectively shut down their offense.

The Marauders came into the game as the under-dogs though their stats as they blew through the finals leading up to the Cup, might say otherwise.

They commanded the game almost from the opening quarter and easily dominated the field in time of possession and net yards. They have scored 10 points off turn-overs. And though they are very prone to taking penalties, they manage to regroup on the next play usually to make great yardage.

23 - 0 Marauders at half-time.

What a game!!

Unbelievable, Kreskin.............simply unbelievable. That has to be some of the finest football I have had the privilege to see. Those kids just don't give up. I was so glad to see Kyle get the MVP - he was phenomenal. See that block he threw?? If the CFL lets this guy skip through their fingers, they are all idiots.

So happy for the Marauders and their fans - long drought 44 years. Good on them.

Congrats to the McMaster Marauders. Rock on Guys.
