God will burn them if they burn His book

I don't know how this will be: hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, internal wars, epidemics ...etc.

This is because they pretend not agreeing about burning the book of the Quran, while they in fact do not prevent such men from committing their transgression on the book of God: the Glorious Quran.

If some persons intend to burn the Gospel, will Muslims allow this in their countries? No, of course; because Muslims believe in the Torah and the Gospel as do they believe in the Quran.

Therefore, if the American government is truly against this act of this clergy, then they have to prevent him or else they will share in the wrath of God that they will incur.

The Quran is the book of God and He Himself will defend His book.

Oh Gimme a break!

First of all, what you and most other Muslims do not understand is the concept of freedom.

These guys, nutty and provocative as it is, have every right to express themselves by burning whatever damned book they please.

If you, or any other Muslim has a problem with that, might I suggest you pluck the log from your own eye first........I will listen to your whinning and BS when there is a Bible store in Mecca.

I won't hold my breath.

Wow, you religious freaks need to get a new hobby. I think burning the Quran is backwards and irresponsible but don't come around preaching, you come from one of the most ass backward regions in the world.

If Moslems are respectful & tolerant of other faiths, enough so as to not
desecrate their Holy books, etc.....then they too should be respected &
tolerated in turn, and not have their Holy books desecrated in this
manner.

Hi E,

I'm a fence sitting agnostic.
Agnostic | Define Agnostic at Dictionary.com

I'm skeptical that God will punish these people or America's leaders if they refuse to prevent this intolerant act, since I'm skeptical of God's existence.

I'm against disrespecting any religion, including Islam, therefore I'm also against burning the Quran as well as any object any religion considers sacred.

Predicting a catastrophe will hit the US in the near future is a pretty safe bet, especially during the hurricane season. I'd say that proves nothing.

However, if none of the catastrophes you describe occurs in the near future in the US during this event, then how would that affect your belief system?

Try to think clearly for once. Wouldn't it make more sense for god to burn just the people responsible for burning the Quran, instead of visiting destruction on a whole lot of people who had nothing to do with it and probably didn't even know it was happening? But god's reportedly been over-reacting like that since Old Testament times, I'm not surprised you'd expect him to continue. I predict god will do nothing, natural disasters will continue to happen and you'll identify some of them as being god's wrath over this, but the people who actually set the fire will be untouched by them. That seems fair...

What does a bible store have to do with this?

Is there a Quran store in the Vatican?

I agree with the rest of what you said though.

I don't agree with book-burning as it doesn't really solve anything in the end, and will just exasperate the situation. Does anyone not think that if the books end up getting burned that there won't be a sudden burst of violence?

Blaming a book on the actions of some of the people who follow it's tenets is like blaming the car driven by a drunk driver that is involved in a fatal accident. Neither the book or car were responsible for the violent acts, but the actions of the people involved were.

Books have been burned many times throughout the centuries, and never for noble purposes. The Nazis performed a huge burning of books in 1933, an "Action against the Un-German spirit". There doesn't seem to be a huge difference in this upcoming incident either.

All I know is that things are more than likely going to turn ugly in a few days' time.

Let us not be hasty here remember that other freak, Pat Robertson? He is the Christian version of the insane Muslim crowd. I prefer to think back on the
liner notes of the old album Aqualung, Man created God in his own image.
I can't remember all of it but I have the LP downstairs if anyone is really interested.
God will do nothing, just like he has done nothing in the past.
Here is another question I wondered about. How come even for insurance purposes
all Acts Of God are violent acts. I mean does God not preach peace and that sort of
thing. Another question, why is it that the religious faithful of various sects, preach
threats when the masses see through their bull. Oh God is going to get you.
Religion is becoming little more than a perverse comedy, but I guess those folks in
the third world having nothing else to hang onto. I don't hear them complain when
God sends them an earthquake and we the infidels send them food shelter and clothing. We have more we get more, and they have nothing, who's side did you
say God was on again.

Actually, " Man created God in his own image" was originally written by Mark Twain over a hundred years ago. Very astute man.

Personally I don't think the Muslims understand a thing about democracy. They
cannot prevent the idiot from burning a book. Democracy has a separation of
church and state, thank God, (oh I digress). We have a right to make fun of God,
after all he is one of the boys, I mean in the same image and all that right.
I cannot understand how people can lump themselves into a time several
centuries ago and refuse to see beyond that and the Muslims are not alone.
Many things were related to people through symbolism because most of them
couldn't read. All religions liked that idea, instead of reading for ones self,
the clergy would say Let me tell you a story. Understand God has probably
moved on himself, who the hell would want to save the collection we have become.
