Quoting mrgrumpy
Are you suggesting the God of the old tetsmant and the Jesus of the new, are not one and the same?
They aren't, had you read the book, or at least some part of it, you would know that. You should know you can't be your own son.

When one person suffers from delusion it is called insanity.

When many people suffer from delusion it's called Religion.

Coming from the RCC I can see how you would believe that? Several I have met would prove that statement to be in error.
Even in all your dis-belief you still haven't broken free from religion, look how many posts you have on just these two threads. They are about Religion, so how sane does that make you?

I'm quite sane thank you.

As I said before tormenting the self-righteous religionsists of this site does give one a certain sense of being useful.

And the Good News is that there are really , out of some 20,000 members, only two left - you and look whatever his/her number is.

I call that progress!! Yes, indeed, maybe religious fanatics will disappear in our lifetime and we'll be done with the whole evil rot once and for all.

Planning big things for next Friday, I expect?

Then is seems your quest still has a ways to go.
I have no doubt about AJ's belief in Christ being quite solid but I do sometimes wonder about his fascination with numbers.

If and when your mission is complete here there is still those sites out there where you might find another few million Christians, take in all the other Religions and your quest is really one grain of sand from all the sand in the world so far.

Next Friday? I would have thought you would peg me to being doing something on passover instead, which is the next full moon oh knower of all things.

Then I might have a candle lit and eat my bannock and drink my wine at midnight while standing with my footwear on. No sense being prepared for that 'possible flight' on the wrong day now is there?
How 'bout you, got any plans for that pagan day a few days from now? A little howling at the moon maybe?

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.

Is that a religious statement or a political one?
