The Council on American-Islamic Relations is warning Detroit mosques to beef up security ahead of a Christian prayer event this weekend.
“TheCall” is a 24-hour prayer and fasting event set to take place Nov. 11 in Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions. Thousands of Christians are expected to attend, which prompted Dawud Walid, executive director of CAIR’s Michigan chapter, to email local Muslim organizations telling them to be on the alert.



“Given the theology of the participants and that they view Muslims as demonic, we should be prepared that some participants may come to the mosques to harass or provoke worshipers especially around the time of Friday prayers,” Walid wrote in an email Nov. 2.
Walid advised area mosques and schools to make sure all entrances are secure during the time of the event, and said they should call police if they see “suspicious persons congregate on mosque property.”
According to the --, TheCall’s -- described Detroit as a city in despair, and said Christians will “gather to this city that has become a microcosm of our national crisis – economic collapse, racial tension, the rising tide of the Islamic movement, and the shedding of innocent blood of our children in the streets and our unborn.”

No big surprise. Mobs of Christians come pouring out of churches and attacking mosques all the time. Don't they?

It is simply hilarious, and the fools who support CAIR are lapping it up!

You people do know that i dont see as many christians using the media as well as jews and muslims... Something to think about, if they the muslim clerics can make you feel sorry for them than of course there will be apathy towards christians at large.... Were in a war of propoganda and we the socially advanced christians are losing....

Not only losing but bending over backwards to deny we're even under attack, going so far as to insist those attacking us are actually the victims, and that we deserve to be attacked.

Not because of a prayer service...
Previously, TheCall's website described Detroit as a city in despair, saying Christians will “gather to this city that has become a microcosm of our national crisis – economic collapse, racial tension, the rising tide of the Islamic movement, and the shedding of innocent blood of our children in the streets and our unborn."


As of Friday afternoon, however, the phrase “the rising tide of the Islamic movement” had been removed from the statement. TheCall representatives could not be reached concerning the change.

"In other words, [they want] to conduct spiritual warfare against the spiritual demons which they claim hold Muslims in bondage and keep them from converting," she said. "Of course, this is expressed in terms of love. They say 'We don't hate Muslims. We love Muslims. But we hate that they are in spiritual bondage and don't convert to Christianity.' "
If the shoe were on the other foot, anyone would have to be barking mad to say that taking precautions is "overreacting".

I guess they removed the “rising tide of the Islamic movement” part so that they could catch the Muslims in their Mosques unawares!

Problem is we have arseholes both Christian / Muslim are guilty -that put out this incitement which does nothing but cause harm.

Somehow.....I doubt that you'll see a Christian entering a mosque dressed this way.....

True - But the "Call" and their announcement is nothing but hate.

Some minor changes

The "Prophets" website described Detroit as a city in despair, and said Muslims will “gather to this city that has become a microcosm of our national crisis – economic collapse, racial tension, the rising tide of the Evangelical movement, and the shedding of innocent blood of our Muslim children in the streets and our unborn and killings throughout the world.”
