Very good Karrie!

I'd say Jamie DeWolfe is definately in the "Fair Game" category for Scientology.

That cult is so f'ed up, I still don't understand why the US gives it a religious tax exempt.

This says it all about the motives of the cult, I'm surprised the US gave them tax exempt status after all this.

Operation Snow White was the Church of Scientology's name for a conspiracy during the 1970s to purge unfavorable records about Scientology and its founder L. Ron Hubbard. This project included a series of infiltrations and thefts from 136 government agencies, foreign embassies and consulates, as well as private organizations critical of Scientology, carried out by Church members, in more than 30 countries;[1] the single largest infiltration of the United States government in history[2] with up to 5,000 covert agents.[3] This was also the operation that exposed 'Operation Freakout', because this was the case that initiated the US government investigation of the Church.[3]
Under this program, Scientology operatives committed infiltration, wiretapping, and theft of documents in government offices, most notably those of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Eleven highly-placed Church executives, including Mary Sue Hubbard (wife of founder L. Ron Hubbard and second-in-command of the organization), pleaded guilty or were convicted in federal court of obstructing justice, burglary of government offices, and theft of documents and government property. The case was United States v. Mary Sue Hubbard et al., 493 F.Supp. 209 (D.D.C. 1979).[4][5][6][7]

They're a money making machine and when you cross them they'll come at you hard. "Fair Game" is the term they use. You go after them... they will respond ten fold.

yeah, i've read all about their frivolous lawsuits, they basically try to force you into bankruptcy with legal fees, not to mention the character assassination they are so adept at.

Bingo... that is what they do. Only when "Anonymous" attacked them did they back down a bit.

Remember that?

George Bush and others of the far right are good close friends with it.

Where did that come from? Most nations exempt religions from taxation, Canada included.

Canada does not consider Scientology to be a religion, hence it is not tax exempt.

It comes from the fact that Canada does not give Scientology tax exempt status. Anything else you'd like to know?

Yes - I would like to know why you made your post so imprecise that it alluded to all religions, not just Scientology.

You need to keep up. A poster said he did not know why the US gave the Church of Scientology a tax exampt status. I asked if Canada did and found the answer was "No". Canada refuses to give Scientology a tax exempt status, to which I praised Canada.

The thread is about Scientology, we were talking about Scientology. How much more precise do you need?

Please see Post #4 for additional reading.
